The more logical thing to do would be to skewer the windshield with her claymore to shishkabob the person in the front seat, but the rules for Penetration Weapons (p. 198) are so hopelessly permissive that they seem to undermine the whole purpose of a barrier in the first place. The second question is how strong ballistic glass is. It is classified as an "average material", such as furniture, which seems underwhelming to me because, as written, it would only stop hold-outs and light pistols. There's also "armored glass", which seems equally wrong in the other direction because it could stop anything shy of an assault cannon or an HE grenade. I suppose that it's within my power and authority to simply take the middle ground of the two, which is what I shall do.

Katsina vs. glass: Agility 6 + Blades 6 + Swords 2 + Weapon Focus 2 + Charging 2: 18d6t5 2, well that certainly wasn't very good. A good roll for it, I suppose, as it can't dodge.

The glass has to soak 14P -5AP. Glass resist: Structure 6 + Armor 8 - AP 5: 9d6t5 2 hits

The windshield takes 12P. This is exactly twice its Structure rating so that creates a 2-meter hole. Katsina trashes the entire windshield, which is now gone.

The next posts are going to trickle out slowly as I have time to adjudicate them.

You asked earlier about drugs and toxins on the Infected. Katsina is immune but Sam isn't, so Sam is susceptible to their effects, both good and bad.

The magician, in the front seat of the Bulldog, is mildly concerned about the masked woman that just bashed out the windshield in front of his face with a claymore.

Simple: Command spirit

Soaking 6 drain: 6 hits, no drain

End of the combat turn so might as well throw all the Counterspelling dice in the pool.

Katsina resisting 6 stun: Willpower 6 + Counterspelling 5: 11d6t5 4 hits, tempted to Edge but since there's no wound modifier at 2S I'll let it slide. Katsina takes 2S.



4 - The magician's spirit, in the form of a djinn, bursts out of the van on the astral and attacks Katsina. Granted, nobody can see this but Katsina and Sam, and Sam's got his hands full. The magician, having seen Katsina strike down Rozkhi and sprinting with inhuman speed with a claymore, is ignoring the take-prisoners approach and has ordered the djinn to do Physical damage.

Astral combat vs. Katsina: 6 hits

Katsina defense: Intuition 8 + Logic 5: 13d6t5 5, so close, Katsina takes 1P



4 - Doc Hack continues his astral assault on Katsina. Seeing the djinn go for Physical combat, the mostly psychotic Doc Hack can't resist doing the same.

Katsina defense: Intuition 8 + Logic 5 - Previously Attacked 1: 12d6t5 4 hits



3 - The smaller man on the right, hearing Katsina trash the van and seeing Ohanzee face-plant in the snow, turns his attention from the dwarf to the vampire. He's going full auto with stick-n-shock.

Full-auto at Katsina: 3 hits, not great but full-auto is hard to dodge

Katsina dodge: Reaction 3 + Intuition 8 + Combat Sense 3 - Full Auto 9: 5d6t5 3 hits, woot check that out. Combat Sense for the win. I thought for sure I was taking hits.

Mt initial Idea was to maim the troll with my claws or teeth, but after getting the message from Kat, I'm tempted to have Sam fire off a nade into the now open windshield of the van.
What kinda horrible penalties would I face for doing such a thing while a jazzed up chrometroll is biting me?

-3 for Attacker in melee combat. I thought there would be one more penalty that would apply but now I can't think of it.

I need a Composure check (Charisma 3 + Willpower 7) vs. a threshold of 3 hits for Sam to conquer his inner hunger / feral nature, ignoring the troll right in front of him in favor of plunking a grenade in the van at Mask's request.

The good news is that you only need 3 hits to fit a grenade through the vacant windshield. The bad news is that you'll hit Katsina with the blast, but she seems okay with that. (Sam's angle means that the grenade will detonate in the front seat; he doesn't have the angle to slot it further back.)

That said, Bear is strongly of the opinion that Sam should help Katsina. Sam can add +2 from his mentor spirit to the Composure test.

Wow. Not sure what the Acc is on that launcher, but I don't think it matters.
That was a fragmentation grenade.

I'll just throw the drone hit, the punch from the dopetroll, the composure roll, and the firing of the nade in my IC. You can do the aftermath.

The bad news is that you'll hit Katsina with the blast, but she seems okay with that.

She'll have a lil protection, as the nade should go off inside the van though, right?

Bear's going to manifest near the guy that's been 'nading O (right flank, I believe). As much as he would like to prevent forest fires by eating the evil mages that start them, he needs to draw some fire off of Ohanzee. Here's hoping Sam's 'nade clears the mage in the van.

Shouldn't be any recoil for the grenade anyway.  You've taken an action since shooting the drone.  Unless you're dropping 6 'nades in there :P  (don't think they've a full auto pill dropper yet)
