Yes, Doc rebooted and re-configured his deck.
@Tec: want rolls for re-stealing the drone, or can we say we safely disabled the weapons on the drone and forced the rigger to give me control of it?  I'm good either way.

Deck Settings:
Programs: Ecryption, Toolbox, Virtual Machine, Agent, Configurator
A: 4 S: 5 D: 6 (7.) F: 7 (8.)
Programs: Agent, Decryption, Armor, Virtual Machine, Shell, Hammer
A: 7 (8.) S: 4 D: 5 F: 6

As for ¥¥ transfer, Doh!  I agree that two Platinum or maybe just one and 5 Golds should be reasonably attainable in the amount of time we had.  The transfer would take 2-6 free or simple actions, so 1-2 CTs?  Can easily do that while Ohanzee explains the situation to Cannon.  Either way, I'm good with however Tec wants to rule on this.

@Zweiblumen Doc now has full control of the F-B Bumblebee.

@All Sam has a Transys Avalon, so that's the highest rated commlink. Sam's skin isn't going to melt a credstick (or a commlink) immediately, but it probably will make it unusable after a while. That probably only matters if you care about the ¥1,000 value of the credstick itself.

After that, Kat has the next best commlink at rating 5.

A commlink on its own can hold ¥0. A commlink linked to a SIN and a lifestyle can hold ¥∞ via a bank account. Without a SIN or a bank account, neither of which Doc has, you'll have to load it onto credsticks.

As I said, I'm not trying to play gotcha with this detail; I just want to RP it correctly. Doc certainly has enough Logic to foresee the issue and come prepared. Given the economic depression of Grand Junction, you can't find any Platinum credsticks on short notice. You can find Gold credsticks, which means you'll need 20 total. You have ¥2,800 remaining so you can afford this.

I'm going to say it takes a combat turn for Doc to physically grab a credstick, tap it to his deck to transfer funds, then drop it. That means it will take 30 seconds to do the first million and a minute to do both millions. Ohanzee just needs to give a speech long enough to fill that time.

Diamondback can verify the foci and the magical lodge materials. Diamondback doesn't have a clue about the lab; nor, for that matter, does Ohanzee. Someone could open it up and let Doc peek at it via a drone or glasses, I suppose.

Sounds like a plan to me.  Anyone want to traipse into the RV?  Also, probably want to make sure it's not rigged to blow like our side is :P

Katsina will do whatever Ohanzee assigns to her. She can use Magic Fingers to check out the RV, although she'll note that the driver is still present (so it's not likely to blow up) and that her Detect Enemies spell isn't giving her any active warnings.

I am looking for an IC post from the team, likely Ohanzee, to advance.

I've been out running errands all day and away from a computer. Just catching up now, and I'll try to get something up tonight.

Actually, this is going to take longer than I thought if I have to keep him busy for 30 seconds. I suppose I could send Kat or Chino to check on the stuff in the trailer/RV, which would probably take 30 seconds (or could be fairly easily extended to that) and Sam could check both sticks and just leave the second one slotted while we wait, doing the transfers as surreptitiously as possible. Then the 30 second delay doesn't rely quite so strongly on O's ability to expound (though it seems to be a strong suit considering previous posts).

I swear, next time, I want to try playing the silent type. Being a Face is a lot of work...

Anyway, I'll try to get something up by noon PST. I've got the gist of the plan, I just need to write a lot of monologue.

Sorry I'm running late on my post. There are multiple places where Cannon could object, so I'll post this is smaller pieces so that Cannon can say yes or no before I move on.

IC going up now.

Is Sam wearing gloves that might mitigate the damage? I'd like to not destroy the credsticks if possible (shiny!). Or maybe Chino can do the chip swapping.

I do not believe so.

In all likelihood, Katsina fashioned gloves for Sam so that he could at least handle his weapons without melting them.

Visual perception test for Katsina: Intuition 8 + Perception 3 + Visual Enhancement 3 - Wounds 1: 13d6t5 4 hits

Composure check for Sam: Willpower 7 + Charisma 3 - Wounds 1: 9d6t5 4 hits

IC is up. The mobile lab appears satisfactory to Doc, at least to the degree that one can confirm things visually without examining them in person.

@Tec: Lemme know if you want any rolls.  Also, Doc is gonna check everyones gear for marks that shouldn't be there.  And if he still thinks that they've a TM on their side he's going to want to confirm everything he's seeing with his Agent.

Also, check your surroundings. Being overly focused on the meet might allow them to sneak up on your meat position unnoticed. I'm working on my IC and will try to cover all of these items, including directing Doc to drop to AR once the first million is across.

He's in AR, but has no real way to check his surroundings.

Doc technically has to be in AR to be doing the manual credstick transfers. It's an awkward process because he has to use his non-agile meat hand to grab the credsticks and swipe them over the credstick reader that's in the cyberdeck that's in his cyberarm.

Before going AR, Doc did the following Matrix Perception tests (one for each PC, in alphabetical order):
Computer 5 + Intuition 4 + Quali 1 + Spec 2 + Codeslinger 2 + VR 2 - Noise 2: 6#14d6t5
Ace: 4 hits
Chino: 3 hits
Doc: 6 hits
Katsina: 3 hits
Ohanzee: 5 hits
Sam: 6 hits

Doc doesn't find anything out of the ordinary. That said, he knows that technomancers have all sorts of trickeration up their sleeves that's very difficult to detect conventionally. Doc doesn't see any evidence of things like Puppeteer - the Matrix actions he sees from the team match up with what he knows actually happened - nor does he find any Cookies that a sprite might use to tag you.

That said, Doc knows that Cannon is holding an electronic file regarding the people or parties that may be after you. That's a potential source of vulnerability.

When Sam checks the second credstick, he will find it exactly the same as the first, with ¥1,000,000. Once the credsticks are swiped, Cannon will expect Sam's device to be deactivated quickly.
