Krestov blinked, then gave a nod, speaking into the commcall in his usual deep tones.  "Yes, still here.  Connection to disappearance unknown, simply following leads.  Speaking of, would like sampling of your blood, for comparison.   Could be very important, yeah?"

Turning to bnc, he gave a bit of a nod, the troll saying no more for the time being.

Krestov couldn't help but smirk a bit as he nodded at the old ork's answer.   "If wanted for that purpose, would not asking of that, no?  Understood, will look for you."  Hanging up with a mental click, the troll straightened up and turned to bnc.  "Sunkid agreed to sample, but uneasy on it.  At Harbor's Edge, three hour window."

bnc smiled a shy smile, one of those rare reminders of her young age. "I know, eight-six-eight-two. I overheard your conversation." She winks.
"That'll be no problem. I'll take the sample in front of him, I'll check for the drug in front of him, and I'll destroy the blood in front of him. No worries. Only thing, we might want to come up with a cover story. I s'pose you don't want him to  know about Spicey's double, do you?"

bnc nods to Torrent's request. "Why, with Scary's face you could have gotten lucky."
Seeing how inappropriate and childish the remark was, she averts her eyes, clears her throat and erases the number from Candy's commlink.

If her commlink turns out to be some Transys or Fairlight, I'll go full VR to get the extra dice. Otherwise:

The quick hack goes of without a hitch and soon the team finds itself at Harbor's Edge.

The Sunkid had taken a seat at a small table in a corner of the room. As soon as he saw the team he waved them over:
"You's a quick lot. But I's got pretty bad news. I's just heard on them news that someone with a name like one of Scary Spice's fake sins has been shot this morning. You's maybe wanna look into that."

Slobbertooth ordered a soykaf, and sat down with the rest of the team.

"We heard about that, too."

bnc nods, but leaves the topic to Krestov and the others. She focuses on her task. She waits until the others have responded properly to him, then raises her own demand.

"My colleague already told you that we're investigating something. If you'd allow me to take a blood sample, please. I'll destroy it in front of your eyes after that. May I?"

"The last time I's taken a blood test was when I's was with that harlot on Hawai that's turned into a vampire."
Sunkid didn't hesitate to present his arm - a mess of tanned skin and white scars. But once bnc found the vein it was no problem to secure a few ml of blood.
The test took a few minutes, but in the end the result was clear: Beside alkohol and coffein there were no traces of any other drugs in his system.
"So, you's gonna tell me what that's about?"

Slobbertooth made some motions that belied his use of AR to take notes.

"Are you taking any drugs that would show up in or alter the results of a blood test?"

Krestov gave a small nod as bnc retreated with the blood sample, crossing his arms in front of him.  "Eliminating variables.  We have been acquiring information, and having comparison with known factoring well help much narrow down what we are looking for.  At moment, several possibilities are up in air, but think we are on right trail.  Worry not, Sunkid"
