Murphy's Laws of Combat: 86. A Purple Heart just proves that were you smart enough to think of a plan, stupid enough to try it, and lucky enough to survive.

Seattle, Downtown, May 6th, 01:00h

This assumption proved to be well founded. Lung Feng's restaurant was a pretty large, free standing structure with two levels above ground and at least one sublevel according to the public available records of the area.
You could still recognize the buildings origin as an early 20th century warehouse at the harbor's edge. Since then it had received severe makeovers - especially the roof reminded now of imperial Chinese architecture. Only the old brick walls at ground level had remained unchanged.

The restaurant was paired with a severely oversized parking lot, that allowed even complete trailer trucks to find a space - not a bad feature considering that close by also the exit ramp to an overpass could be found.

Wire mesh protected the parked cars from anyone wanting to take a shortcut over the grounds. Still, about one in four lamps had been smashed so that not all parts of the lot were visible from the small hut at the entrance where a severely bored rent-a-cop/greeter watched over the comings and goings. Only about one third of the roughly 100 parking spots were filled, so it was quite easy for the team to find a space close or far from the building.

On the matrix side of things bnc noted a rating 4 host providing it's service to the guests. A few lonely cameras mounted on 4 m tall poles dotted the parking lot.

A few quick checks confirmed what bnc had suspected: The Host ran a conservative 5/4/7/6 ASDF configuration.
For a direct connection the most accessible device would probably be found with in the tiny guard hut.

That's "sempai," to you.

bnc dons her chameleon suit, loads her gun with gel. She then follows her comrades.

Sneaking (Limit 8): 17d6t5 4 (Traceless Walk)

Perception (limit 4): 10d6t5 3 (as an elf I got low light vision...so I guess I get no penalties due to lack of lamps?)

By their arrival, Krestov had done his best to clean up his look, opting to keep the armor jacket look and smoothing out his hair.  A troll in a business suit would look strange, so the rugged and dashing look would have to do.  He mulled over what words he would say...being a terrible liar, he relied on half truths when avoiding a revelation most of the time.  As they arrived, his Ares Crusader was tucked away under his arm, loaded with gel rounds as he needed naught else.  Stepping out of the van, the big guy fixed the collar of his jacket.

"Comms check clear.  Just a trog looking to get some food.  Not problem.  Approaching when ready."

Success

Yes, there are hidden icons around, but to identify them you need to enter the host (which you can now that you have a mark

It was distracting to continuously edit the camera's stream, but bnc did it with little trouble. The guard in the hut only glanced at the van before returning to look at something more interesting inside his room.

I enter the host. Do you want me to reroll the perception test?
Are there any obvious icons. Like drones or so

Torrent tries to approach the hut  by moving through the shadows that the faint light of the lamps casts

I try to avoid the guard's line of sight and  he has a -4 dice penalty to hear my steps (traceless walk)

The host opened up before bnc and a multitude of icons appeared.
Looking for hidden icons and threats, she easily detected at least 20 weapons registered to the host. Most were light pistols and automatic pistols, but there were five AKs and one Ares Alpha inside the host, running silent.
The kitchen had three automated drones and a standard array of food processors.

A lot more interesting were the two SUVs registered to the host. One did fit the description of the attacker's perfectly.
bnc could see a patrol ice making it's rounds it would take a while but she wouldn't be able to hide the camera editing forever.

Torrent had no problems approaching the hut unseen. The door was closed but ill fitting. He could see the latch and it would probably be very easy to jimmy it open - but not without making some noise. A distraction would be needed...

"Hurry up, boys. There's only so much time I can blind the cams. We're at the right address, though. I found the SUV. This is gonna be so mucho grando fun, sempais.
Inside this, there's about one gun for each centimetre of Krestov's little hobbit."

How much firewall and device rating does the black SUV have?
Are there any cameras inside the host?

Is there a trid inside?
