Totally by accident, it turns out out Slobbertooth has the highest Pilot Groundcraft dicepool of 9 (until bnc can jack in). Improved Reflexes has a use outside of combat I guess.

Krestov had remained fairly silent for some time after he and Torrent departed through the fire escape, leaving the paralyzed Lung Feng on his desk.  On the commands of their ork comrade, Krestov snapped up from his seat in the far back of the van (the only place he fits and the weight's balanced), giving a small nod.

"Da, though Feng receiving Torrent's special touch.  Unlikely get help for at least hour.  If forces of his already to place, likely find Yini and Yang mages..."

The click of moving parts from the troll's modified Ares Alpha added to the atmosphere of his point  as he loaded his rifle up, propping it to the side as he donned his helmet, the golden eagle wings glinting on either side.  His shield was also out, the troll fully geared for a fight.  "Ready"[/b]

Also, I find no material supporting or restricting the use of an assault rifle with one hand.  Ruling?  I'd personally be slapping the heavy weapon double recoil rules, but that's just my thoughts

It took only 20 minutes to reach the pier. With Scary Spice' direction they slowly drove through a labyrinth of containers and obsolete machinery.

Slobbertooth cut headlights. He didn't need them. He considered switching to infrared but thought better of it, and instead relied on his natural low-light vision to carry him through the night.

bnc took care of the patient, carefully measuring his core and skin temperature, blood pressure, heart and breathing frequency and the color of his skin. "What is the last thing you can remember before you were in the basement. And is it okay if I take a blood sample? Maybe I can find out what kind of drugs are running through your system."

The tests show that Scary Spice is an almost offensively healthy person. As far as bnc could gather, the man had quite a bit of bioware inside him but all had to be at least alpha grade if not better. Without the steady infusion from the autodoc, Scary's body was rapidly purging all poisons and his overall well being was increasing by the second.

Slobbertooth noticed the danger before it could notice them: Three people with powertools and SMGs where trying to open up a heavy steel container. Close inspection showed that despite their normal size they were moving heavy loads with ease. Their eyes had a vacant expression.

bnc meanwhile registered the tree man's SMGs and sidearms (Light pistols) as well as there commlinks. On a whim she made a matrix search and spotted three hidden icons: 3 smart platforms loaded with AK 98s had been placed in such a way as to be able to fire on everyone going near the site.

Slobbers timely action had prevented them from being spotted.

Scary frowned: "That is not our container."

bnc immediately uploaded the gathered data to the ARO map.

Slobbertooth wasn't interested in any more vigilante action for the evening. We're here to secure the gear, not stop a robbery. If some geeks are here to run the jewels, I saw we let 'em, unless we can identify them as Triad thugs who are going to cause us trouble later.

However, he was interested in getting his paws on the custom Yamaha Raiden he purchased. "And which container is yours, Pumpkin Spice?"

Slobbertooth applied easy pressue to the brakes, letting the van slow to a crawl, maneuvering it so that the back doors had cover.

Scary said: "It was right next to this one. Bright green with a sunflower on the door. I unloaded it myself from the sub. I am missing six hours, I might have moved it somewhere.
About those thugs - I am pretty sure they are Triads..."

A soft knock on the side door of the van interrupted him:
"Open up. It's me, the Sunkid."

You can't say quite how the old ork got so close to your car as he did without being noticed, but he did.
Once inside he tosses a full bag of gear towards Scary:
"You's got some nerves, I's tell you's that. Gettin caught by them Triads like some rookie."
"Yeah I'm glad you are fine, too, old bastard."

"So's, what's goin on? Why's them possessed Triad boys tryin to break in a potato box?"

Slobbertooth kept facing forward, "We're waiting to find out what box we need to go to for the goods. We don't know why those thugs are trying to crack the box."

bnc just opens her mouth to ask "Are you all right", but then shuts up. Slob's questions are way more relevant and she hates people asking irrelevant questions. Since she can't come up with something more urgent, she just does what she should do more often: hold it.

"Can't you's smell it? This container's full of moldy potatoes. Most important, it's not ours so why you's wanna waste time on it. Them boys down there have themselves gotten sum spirit riders - damn Triad sorcerers."
The Sunkid threw a glance back in the van:
"And you's Scary 'urry up with them trousers. There's a lady in 'ere."

bnc laughs out loudly. "It's been a time since I've been called a lady!"

Only those with a good feeling for people can hear the faint hint of disappointment in her voice that shows this was not entirely a joke.

"Let's move on. Quickly."

"So the Triads brought a small army to open a container full of potatoes?And this has nothing to do with your stuff?It must be our lucky day, right?"
