Hey Chummers,
So, I am going to stat this upfront. I DO NOT LIKE 5th Edition compared to 4th Edition. Especially, where the Run & Gun which cannot even hold a candle to Arsenal (2nd Printing by CGL) in my opinion comes into play.

That being said, I need some serious HELP finding the right fit of armor for my Technomancer who has a body of 3!                                                                              Please, advise how I can get a Nonrestrictive, Casual set of armor with decent room for modifications and a custom fit that can stack somewhat to give a respectable armor rating. For Everyday wear.

Not looking to match the Troll in the group. Just stand a decent chance of not dying when I get hit from a FA burst. If that is possible then please advise. I am truly having a hard time figuring it out. Thanks.

Also, How does Restrictive and Custom Fit even be on the same Features List? Is that not the whole point of getting Custom Fit to make the Armor less restrictive? Thought's?

So, do you ask for 4th or 5th edition?

If we are talking about 5th, Body is irrelevant. You can have STR+1 additional armor without penalties (So even a STR 1 character can wear a helmet in addition to his armor)

Since you have R&G: I usually prefer Ares Victory Wildhunt: Comes with a free action draw holster, a rating 6 armor mod and 12 armor.
Add gel packs and a helmet or a ballistic mask and you get a solid 16 armor.

Mortimer of London's Berwick Suit with Argentum Coat (Stacked Armor of 13; Coat is Capacity 14, suit is Capacity 5).
Vashon Island's Steampunk with YNT Fabric with a Synergist Long Coat over it (Stacked Armor of 13; YNT brings the Steampunk Capacity up to 21, long coat is 6).  If you can swing it, see if a mage will Fashion the Long Coat to be more aesthetically similar to the Steampunk stuff.  All within availability at character creation.

Just my .02¢

You do know that snake mesh socks do not give you a flat armor increase, right?

Also, did you really just suggest stacking a PPP arms kit and forearm guards? *sighs*
