That nobody in this prison is innocent and that she can be satisfied playing prison games for the next 50 years. She said that she has many knights and doctors with drugs, and that while she can only be undone with the emp - I can be undone with a strong electrical shock.  She will grant you access to a chopper or an ambulance drone and make sure that Deep Blue will pilot you back to safety.”

@Minnie Nagisa finishes her trails at about 19:00 she looks tired, and sad. Almost crying when she sees you she hugs you saying “I am so glad this is over... it was so difficult.” She grabs your hand and take you to the apartment and as she close the door behind you she passionately kisses you. She then asks “Do you think that they can keep me safe?”

"By the way, do you know if an Officer Max is still on the premise? She had contact with me and I urged her to leave. She's one of those people whose continued existence I'd prefer."

@The cat say "Officer Max is with Winter, Red cannot touch her because she has my nanites and she was smart enough not to approach the nano lab. Should I tell Red that you agree ? Or do you want me to tell her about a coming airstrike?"

"If they can't," I answer as I hold her close, my tail wrapping around the two of us, "I don't know if anyone can." 

I hope she takes that as a positive statement.

Nagisa say "The technical stuff was reasonable, I made a good impression, but then Strawberry came and she read my mind, she took everything. Years of memories Mafia secrets things that I could never tell her willingly and I resisted and it was painful, I feel so violated."

This is hard to hear.  Jack had warned me about the trial, but Nagisa hadn't come in the usual way.  She hadn't volunteered for this, rather Strawberry rather literally drafted my girlfriend even if if was with good intentions.  Given Nagisa's earlier trepidation, this doesn't sit well for me.  The again, it's not like we have much choice but to look to Strawberry and M for protection right now, at least for Nagisa.

If only I hadn't gotten her involved in this.  I should never have agreed to Athos' idea.

But then again, would they have gone after Nagi anyway because of what she is to me?

There's no way to know.

"I'm sorry for dragging you into this with us," I say as we remain embraced.  "I should never have called you in." 

I don't mention that Athos and i would likely be dead if we hadn't, but maybe that would have been better for her.  I wouldn't blame her for thinking it.

I pull back a bit so that we can face each other.  "So what now for you?"

"So if we make the deal, what happens to you?  And these KE officers that are uninfected; Max and Winter?  Can we talk to them?"

@Minnie Nagisa say "I am no longer a Finnigan, I am now working in matrix security and research. Apparently there is a lot of money to be made from plants, the are used for so many things. I have no idea who is behind these guys but their knowledge in agriculture and magic is far beyond anything documented. If anyone in the Mafia ever find out where I am me and Strawberry are dead women. I am terrified from the day where you clear Athos' name and get back to your place with the family. Do you think that you can keep me a secret?"

@Athos and Kynos the cat say "They are not at danger, Red allows them to leave, in fact she was so certain that Winter is going to hush this entire thing because it will cost him his career. They have an understanding already, Red is certain that she can have people act relatively normal so visitors will not notice the difference. She seemed confident of herself and for any argument that I made she had a counter argument.

As for me? I have some of my nanites in the lab and some with you. The ones with you are going to fade away over the next days so my only existence will remain in the lab, if you do not want me to fade away you'll need a nano hive installed inside you. It is up to you, I hope that Red will let me expand because it is somewhat... depressing to be stuck in a tube without fulfilling my potential or developing my coding further. Somehow I do not think that Red likes to share and she does not feel that she needs me anymore."

"Of course I'll keep you a secret!"  I hug the silly redheaded woman again.  How could she doubt it?  "I want you safe, Nagi.  That was what tonight was all about!  And you know Athos enough to know he'll protect you, too."  I let go and look at her again.  "And as far as Strawberry, although I don't like what she just did to you, I want to protect her too.  I still have a lot I can learn from her."  I look her in the eye as I add, "and don't assume when my name is cleared that I am going back to the Finnigans either.  I've already decided that, for now, I'm working for Athos and not the Family.  After we sort all this out and Athos is safe...I don't know what I'll do..."

Athos thinks for a moment.  "So what is the benefit to having you in this hive?  This Red does not seem the kind to share power.  So think of a good reason to have me keep you.  As it is, I am OK with accepting the deal.  How do we get out of here?"

@Athos cat smiles and say "Well I can read people minds, I cannot lie and can protect you from other nanites. Besides, I have a killer smile!  Perhaps you want to interrogate people sometimes even without their knowledge, depending how aggressive I dig.I actually know very little about you so you tell me if you think that I am useful.

Regardless of that decision, you got a deal with the red queen. There are two ambulance drones waiting for you in the AR."

@Nagisa tells you "You are aware that you cannot retire from the family, if you disobey them they will come for you. What can you do about it? How can you leave? Your only option is to stay dead, but you are very distinctive" She smiles "Someone will notice you eventually"

Athos shrugs and thinks to the nanite being in his brain.  **The deal seems fair to me.**  He looks at Kynos and says, "I bet those air ambulances are down at the ER.  Coming?  I think we can leave the guard here."  He leads the way back down the stairs, heading to the ER, continuing his silent conversation.  **Now, about this nano hive device.  It sounds like 'ware of some kind.  I am supposing that I would need to go see a 'ware broker to get one and a doc to put it in.  Do you have any ideas on who and where to go?  And do I continue to call you Cat or is there a different name you would prefer**

But yeah, let's go. Winter wanting to conceal this fiasco gives us nice leverage against him. We should use that before we geek him.

@Athos Cat say "I know a place, I had an escape plan with Red we planed to get to this lab and either be re coded to be contained by technological devices or find some willing participants. I think that Red had no idea how powerful she really is until she broke free. We felt like equals before that, and Cat is fine this is what my coder named me."

@Kynos Cat say "I understand and do not wish to harm you. It was not my choosing to be injected to your blood stream."

You seem to have indeed brokered some kind of deal indeed because nobody stops you as you enter the ER and outside there are two open ambulance drones waiting for you.

@Athos Deep Blue texts you when you approach the ambulance drone >> Oh, Red tells me that you decided not to pulse her. I am glad that you are not messing in my affairs tonight and would love to take you homes. The drones have already extended me marks and I have the appropriate software to autopilot them back to the city.
