When I was in the prison, the KE jackboots planted some nanites in me to make me talk. I still had them when I left and have come to realize that they have formed some sort of aware AI. Very advanced stuff and waaaaay beyond my capability to understand. But the AI is sort of sharing my mind and has told me to call it cat, like the Chesire Cat from the Alice in Wonderland story. I am getting a small hive to allow the nanites to keep regrowing as they die off. Strange sort of tech mojo that I do not understand. One of the things Cat does is help protect me from mind spells. Cool, huh?"
Athos nods to himself as he escorts Minnie to the van. He greets the three inside, "Aces, eh? Good, solid choices. Relax a bit, Kynos, you look good in it. Stop twisting as if you are in pain and you will look even better. So, about drugging Venom. What about some Kamikaze? It would make him very tough for a few minutes, during which we just watch him. Then he crashes and we can move him. He will have unresisted stun as well, making it easier to hustle him out. He might not even really know what hit him, so to speak."
