Having to navigate the labyrinth with an impromptu prisoner while reading the play-by-play messages of his team was a little taxing for Maxwell.  Fortunately the stream did relieve some of the guess work he had to make in regards to which turns were to be made.  "A craven fool and a sore loser.  Doesn't matter now, i'll have my revenge and payday soon anyway."  As he advances closer he sends out a response back.

@Minnie, Venom takes you deep into the maze and after a short while you exist at the far side of it. It is a hill filled with totems along the way. During week days Shamanic worshiper fills the place and the entire road is an improvised marketplace but right now the entire island is empty. Dedicated to the event and the press conference. Despite the city's aura it is so clear that the stars are visible and as you climb the hill the entire. The road is pleasant and he is a complete gentleman. He speaks to you about his childhood in federated Korea on the line back and forth to Japan. He tells you that he was nothing more than a Yakuza assassin at the time. 

 When you reach the top of the hill the city view is breath taking and Venom survey the skyline with you, the largest buildings are cooperation buildings with their neon logo's plastered all over. There are also more classic land marks such as the space elevator built in 2050 as the most economic method of sending satellites into orbit.


 He sighs and say "The city is beautiful, but sometimes I just want a fresh start, without all the cooperate greed, a new world carved out of the ruins of the old one.  Don't you?"


@Athos it is easy to follow Venom he is not trying to hide or anything, however as the topology of the maze changes you cannot follow the exact path as Venom and Minnie, walls move openings form and disappear.

If you want to remain stealthy you'll need to roll intuition + navigation  (or just intuition) or you can just walk trough the walls.  Extended test difficulty 4, 5 minutes per try to solve the maze.

@Maxwell the lady introduces herself "I am Luna, do you need some help with the maze? you seem to be struggling a little bit... do not try to solve it, just 'will' your way on it and it will make you a path, this is the most common mistake."

The couple stops for a moment as Maxwell analyzes her words with annoyed suspicion.  "You could have mentioned that earlier.  And the name's Sovereign, if you care to know it."  He tries out her suggestion and imagines the maze and all of its detail, along with the spot that Venom and Yulia are at.  He pictures in his mind's eye the vined walls in his path rearranging themselves to make way for him.

The passion in the man's voice is intoxicating and I find myself swooning with his conviction.  In the back of my mind, that part of me which is Yulia draws parallels with what Gi is saying and what she'd heard earlier from Jimmy.  Still, it isn't lost of my inner self that the old order would have to be 'ruined' to make room for the new.  As much as I want to focus on the implications of this, so much of my mind is absorbed my Minnie i just can't do it justice.  I can just hope that the others are listening.

Still, Minnie isn't without her own Mata Hari insights.

"I've heard other men talk of making big changes but the world keeps moving along," I note as I snuggle against the much larger man.  I have to hold myself back from toying with the fasteners of his outer wear.  "What makes you different, Gi?"

@Minnie Gi say bluntly, "I am actively destroying the old order" as he hugs you, "watch how fascinating it is, all the security is in this island, they are terrified for their little order, but you cannot stop progress, they cling to what they know like a leaf in the wind."  Large explosions rock Seattle as he speaks, the space elevator, Horizon and Ares building ,UCAS national bank and the KE headquarters...  They are all in smoke, not completely destroyed, but pillars of black smoke raise from there and they are clearly in flames. They appeared to have suffered some direct hits from rockets fired from the UCAS military base.

"Impressive heh?" he say "At these hours there are few casualties. This is not the point, symbols of power are important. Seattle was isolated and weak - managed by a country that does not understand it, and who ever controls the fort controls the city. My modest part was to attract a lot of attention so that other people stay in the Shadows. Revolution!" He say with pride and adds "We do not have much time... they will come for me soon..." He say as he leans to kiss you.

@Knyos, Athos and Maxwell braving the maze is a bit difficult but it is nothing more than a minor setback, in several minutes you find your way out. Just in time to watch the firework, you do not seem to have much time. Security personal are running around like maniacs people scream, one thing you are certain. Knowing Venom's reputation, you are certain that you are not the only one that will be going after him.

"Show time."
Confidently Kynos walked towards the two love birds. "Oy, Venom. Nice show, seems like you don't like cleaning crews if you bomb those buildings at night."
He saw that the ork had turned towards him, but didn't slow down. "Wholesale destruction of civilized people, we should drink to that."
Kynos took a big gulp from his cup. Immediately it began to burn his mucous skin. He grinned without swallowing...

...and sprayed the oil/Tabasco mixture into the orks face and his little piggy eyes.

"Oh man, I'm so sorry, seems my drink is a lot hotter than I expected. I heard you like fireworks. Let me show you a trick" He took another gulp and produced the lighter, flicked the catch and sprayed another fine mist of oil through the flame towards the ork.

I can feel the man's passion as he bends to kiss me and i feel myself responding enthusiastically.  Oh my...my...

The interruption confuses me and I find myself reflexively protecting myself AND my client.

(I will have to post more later, but suffice it to say Minnie is so into her role that she's going to try and protect Venom...at least at the beginning)

Maxwell watched the devastation in vexation.  Within mind and soul he could hear hymns being chanted to steel himself for the fires of war.  "Revenge returns to us, this returns to me.  We are bound to battle for all eternity.  The wolf restrained in chains, dragons in the deep.  This war will throw us corpses in a heap.  With heavy hearts we head, on towards the end.  I've done all I can, never will I bend.  Battle clad we ride, over barren land.  Nothing matters on the battlefield we stand." 

Maxwell's grip on Luna had tightened in order to prevent her from escaping during this maelstrom.  Angrily he speaks to her.  "So this is why he ran off and you stayed to distract me.  You have much to answer for and you will not leave my side.  Is that clear!"

Seeing the cybered-elf's initiative gave Maxwell the time to capitalize on it.  "It's time you make an appearance Mortality.  Materialize and put Venom to sleep."

Initiative: 8+1d6 14 I get the feeling I should probably roll this.
I remembered I have pictures for all my spirits.  I'll post them as I summon them so you aren't left guessing as to what you're looking at.

 Luna looks at Maxwell and say "I suggested you go after him... I did not distract you altough I can be a bit of a  sexual distraction being so gorgeous"   An unpleasant surprise is that your spirit notifies you that you are inside a powerful ward and he cannot interfere.

The hot soup hits Venom's eyes, but he does not lose his composure. Venom looks at Knyos with a strange tranquility "Are you trying to make me angry keeb? Cleaning crews got out safely this is why we only burned the buildings. " He keeps his distance and protects Minnie from the flame with his body.

He then say "Easy there murderous keeb, it seems like you had one too many. Why are you here scum? Are you here to kill me? Swing if you dare but you cannot make me angry, you are nothing but a misguided soul without a purpose. You are here on momentum nothing more.  Yes I looked you up after you shot me I am no stupid." He then looks at Minnie, he does not say much but his eyes reflect disappointment and his look is sort of asking if all you wanted from him was to lead him into a trap.
 
At the same time Luna (Athos have met her before with Blue Vixen and refused to kill for her.) She seems amused and watches with curiosity. Maxwell has to admit that running away does not seem on her agenda, she seems fascinated by your social interactions and is almost intrigued by the possibility of violence.

[Mercy Merchant]

Athos is surprised to see Luna with Sovereign when they step from the maze and so is unprepared for what Kynos plans.  He is dismayed when the flame shoots out at Venom and Minnie steps in front of the Ork.  Part of him sees the action and realizes that Venom is also trying to keep Minnie from harm, but his own instinct is to race in to protect her and that means trying to punch the Ork's lights out.

"Harsh words from a scum sucking corps raper. There are always consequences and I am getting paid quite handsomely to deliver them. You think you are a revolutionary? Ha. That just means you are going to get under the wheels.
But just out of morbid curiosity: Has Grail just made you his marionette or did he make you a muppet, shoving his arm up your ass?"
Kynos smiled and took another sip.

Standing beside and just behind Gi I cry, "I thought we were just after information, not to murder him!  This is wrong!  Strawberry promised him safety while in Seattle!"  I glace up at Gi just long enough to add with a laconic grin, "We talk later.  Right now, I'm with you.  Think you can keep up with me?"

Kynos had fallen again into a reactive stance, ready to dodge any attack aimed at him.

The big orc seems a bit irritated by the lack of respect first it is the hot soup to the eyes that makes them red and irritated. Then the taunting - he seems alert and hyper focused observing his environment carefully ready to strike. Being so close to him, Minnie can tell that his position stiffens, he is angry and may strike a fraction of a second from now.


Feel free to drug it in conversation mode if you like otherwise declare your actions OOC and we'll see what happens. Minnie is the first to operate but I treat the same combat phase as sort of instantaneous.
