Maxwell has his puppet stand up and walk slightly away from Minnie, no more than a few feet.  He has Venom place his hands around the sides of his own head and press down hard on the top of his skull and bottom of his jaw.  Maxwell forces his puppet to use the massive strength of his arms to twist his head in such a way that would cause his neck to snap, thus killing him.  Normally the brain has safeguards to prevent such self-destruction, but Venom was no longer in control of his body or actions.

Athos looks down at Luna.  "Yes.  That might do it.  How can I assist you in this?"

@Maxwell and Minnie Just like that Venom seem to be killing himslef with a skillful neck breaking using all his super human strength against himself.

Maxwell watches Venom fall to the ground like a sackful of hammers.  He observes his body in detail but sees through Venom's trick.  Maxwell's spell had been resisted and Venom probably thought he could play dead to throw off the magician responsible.  "Bow low churl.  The Sovereign walks superior."  Not wanting to waste anymore time, Maxwell grabs his Aces suit and throws it over his shoulder.  He dashes out of the maze back to the getaway car.

@Kynos - <<Change of plans, it seems someone else is coming for Venom.  I'm making my way back to you.>>

"That will have to do. But be prepared that we might have to abduct Venom from the hands of some agency that wants to arrest him.

Luckyly, I've got a remedy for that..."

With that, Kynos loaded the grenade launcher alternating with sleep and pepperpunch grenades.

When the light in Gi's eyes go out and he starts acting so oddly, I don't even bother talking to him.  Mouse is there to confirm in my mind what I already suspected.

Magic.

I remember back to all the spirits inhabiting this maze and wonder which one has taken control of the man.  Throwing sense to the winds, I switch to astral sight in time to see Gi attempt to break his neck.  I'm rather shocked that a spirit would take it what far...until I note that his life force is still quite strong.  I also don't see any sign of a spirit immediately in his vicinity, although I know "mage sight' isn't my strength.  All I can be sure of is that Gi isn't dead but that he seems to hope someone believes he is.

I switch back to real sight and decide to put up an act of my own.  Unsure what the danger is, I keep my senses alert but let Minnie do her thing.

"Gi?'" I ask in apparent panic as I skitter over to the corpse on all fours, my bare ass and tail at full attention and my ears twitching from side to side in search of sounds. "Gi!" I cry in alarm, although I keep the volume down as much as I can and still appear believable.  I shake the "corpse" but do not do anything to it that would force Gi to show his cards.  I look to all the world like a woman whose lover fell dead in her arms...which just happens to be essentially what happened.

Athos nods.  "I can try to do that.  All of this distraction might help to get one body out of the morgue."  He looks around.  "I wonder it they will let us off the island.  Let me contact my companions.  I will be right back so do not go anywhere.  I still need your comm code so I can let you know when I have the body.  Athos takes a few steps and picks up his 'link.  Looking first at the feed from Yulia's glasses he sees nothing but a jumble of clothing, indicating that his friend is still naked.  He does hear some cries from somewhere that sounds like Yulia sobbing over Venom.  A bit concerned, he sends a message out to the others.  >>Kynos and Sovereign.  Did you guys kill Venom?  I am still picking up Yulia's feed from her glasses and it seems that she is sobbing over his body.  Do either of you have eyes on them and can give me an update?<<

@Minnie Gi suddenly alert and awake and with a new sense of perpoise no more fatalism, "Mages... mind tricks we have to get out of here! He almost killed me, I think he is gone now." Apperantly death is not a strong fear but mages are. He grabs your hand and should you follow he runs away with you not even bothering to dress, he is going to the eagle reserve where the clifs and caves make moving at night especially dangerous.   

@Maxwell several security officers point at you "That's him, arrest him!"... approaching you and you do not even have time to run you do not understand that it is you they are pointing on "Dang Gi! also known as Venom. You are under arrest for high treason!"

@Athos Luna gives you her number and adds "Thank you Athos you are a gentleman, I hope you make it."

@Kynos  Suddenly DemoX starts swering with words that your GM is not willing to repeat in writing. When he regain his composure he say "The basterd is getting himself arrested... It is brilliant if he wants to escape us... How could he possibly be so smart.  We'll have to prevent them from getting him in custedy."

Nudity has never really bothered me.  I run side by side with Gi without a thought about the clothes I am leaving behind.

And yes, the glasses are still streaming...from the pile of clothes I am leaving behind.  Like most people enjoying sex and who wear glasses, I had taken them off and placed them beside me.  Kinda hard to kiss passionately with them in the way.  In the heat of the moment, Minnie has forgotten them.

@Minnie since you move so fast you are not cold, it is dark and it actually feels liberating to run naked in december. You diverge from the road into a hill and a cold rock. Venom seem to regain his composure. "Can you climb?" He say and look down the clif. About 20 meters below you there is a small horizontal space and with some roots and possibly a small cave you cannot be sure. Stopping reminds you that you are cold, but your parthner he seems very eager to climb to that space. "It is not that far and nobody can find us there. I can carry you if you prefer."
Gymnastics threshold 3 to climb, Ci will need threshold 4 to carry you, he is a good athlete.

Athos smiles at Luna.  "I will work something out.  We may not be able to leave the island for a bit, though.  Would you care to accompany me to the food bar?  And what is the name of this mystery woman who saved my life?"  He picks up his 'link and sends a text out.  >>Mr. Ando.  I am still working on our problem.  Can you provide me with credentials to remove a body from the KE morgue?  I am thinking ID with some sort of paperwork authorizing transfer of the body.  Perhaps an ambulance and a driver as well.  Name and description of the woman are attached.  Can you do this for me?<<

@Minnie Venom follows you quite impressed on your agility, the guy is superhumanly agile and has no problem keeping up with you. When you reaches the rock Ci pulls out a small capsule from his cyberarm. It is a mono-tent. Ultra thin but wind resistant, you can barely see the thing as he deploy it. "It will not be warm but we'll live to see morning he sais as he embraces you. I had to kill that mage when I had a chance."

Maxwell looks a the guards dumbfounded.  Having trouble figuring out how he was found so easily and why they think he's Venom.  He looks over his shoulder and realizes he grabbed Venom's Sleeping Tiger outfit by mistake and left behind his Ace of Wands suit.  "Ploughing changeling!  If she wasn't in the way then Venom would be a pile of smoldering ash and I would be a much richer and happier man."  Maxwell slowly raises his hands in a non-threatening manner and speaks aloud for them all to hear.  "Relax friends, i'm not the man you seek.  There's just been some misunderstanding i'm sure."

Kynos said to DemoX: "That's why we need to keep our eyes open. And since no one here has any interest in coordinated action, I think I'll start doing this my way.
But say: With all the commotion, have you seen any holes in their security? I want to get into the maze - preferably without having to waste half my ammunition on the guards.
If you can, give me a live feed from your drones, so I can find my way in. If this works, I'll pay for your dinner."
