@Kynos and Maxwell you are not long out of the office before guards start looking for you. Lucky for you is that they keep appearances rather then go all banana's on you. There are people that seem to be closing in on you and more and more security seems to enter the maze after you.

Athos has been waiting near the mansion/hotel for Kynos to let him in on the plan when he notices a lot of extra security guys in the area.  After some running around, many of them seem to be converging on the maze.  He takes his link and sends a couple of messages.  >>Strawberry.  I may need some help here.  I am on the Island.  Two of my companions may need an escort out.  Can Nagisa arrange for my name to be temporarily in the KE database as an independent investigating officer.  I may need to "escort" them from the island for interrogation.<<    <<Kynos.  It looks like the security for th1s place is buzzing about.  Did you do something?  If so, I am trying to arrange for someone to get me some temp credentials with KE.  Maybe I can escort you from the island for interrogation.  What do you think?<<

<<Good idea. I might have broken a window, some cuffs a guard and stolen one or two tasers. Oh and I got Sovereign out. If you can arrange that, alright - but if necessary I'll subdue another guard and take their clothes.>>

While moving deeper into the maze, Kynos tried to delete the data on Maxwells commlink.
"You have to watch my body for a moment. To do that, I'll have to go VR."

Only three seconds later he awoke again. "Sorry, I can't do it. My commlink has not enough dataprocessing to remote access your commlink. I suggest you give DemoX a call. His rigger console should be able to do it reliably against your firewall."

Maxwell nods.  "I will but we will have to deal with the rent-a-cops first."  He starts grinning mischievously.  "Your chrome gives you strength, i'll give you speed."  Maxwell places his hand on Kynos' back and starts channeling.

Maxwell could feel the Drain starting to take effect.  He coughs slightly and starts casting another spell into Kynos.

I take 1S. Going to sustain this too.  Add +2 to Dodge and Surprise tests.

Maxwell takes his hand off Kynos and steps back slightly.  "Hope you're still in the mood to punch shit or what have you."

Sovereign is currently at a -5 dice pool penalty to most tests.

@Maxwell and Kynos The comlink in question is not present in the matrix. No amount of skill is going to hack it remotely or order it to delete its data.

@Athos Strawberry send you a message >>What have you done, KE has no power in there. If you can get to the water and swim passed that ward I can get you out un checked. Alternatively you'll need to work some other way to get off that island. Let me know if you have any idea.

Athos gives a bitter laugh.  >>Strawberry.  Athos.  We seem to have riled the security here.  I guess we are on our own for now.<<  >>Kynos, no luck on Strawberry getting us out.  You have any ideas?<<

@Maxwell Shortly after you cast your spells two spirits of air materialize. The guards are also seemed more confident as they brave the maze, as well as the drones that buzz the sky, you seem to have few options to go but the guards do not attack yet their effort seems to isolate you from the rest of the guests.

I'll give you an opertunity to hide or run or think of somthing creative, take into consideration that you are considerably out numbered. If you do not make a move toward combat, or escape in some other way one of the guards will approach you to negotiate your options.

Kynos reacted instinctively: He grabbed Maxwell in a seemingly painful arm lock and pressed the Taser to his neck. "Play along" he whispered

To the guards he called: "Out of my way. This man is my prisoner, according to Seattle criminal code 22/3a, I'm in hot pursuit of this man and will escort him back to Seattle. If you make one wrong move, I'll collect the bounty for a dead man instead of one alive. One move I say, and you'll have a corps at your hands."

Using Maxwell as a shield he swiftly moved towards an exit close to the coast.

@Kynos and Maxwell your show creates some embaressement and it is not immdieiently clear who is to to pay for it. Your words seem to strengthen the roumor that Maxwell is Venom you can hear them whispering about it. One of the guards approaches you and say "Your juristriction does not work here. You are on Council soil and you are endangering the general public. Your friend here is a dangerous criminal, a mage powerful enough to fool everyone that he is an augmented criminal orc, nobody is going to miss him if he dies. This ends now and Venom is not getting off this island alive."

Apperantly some people beleive that mages are capable of everything. the tension is very high and every wrong move may spark a combat you are both hyper aware. Kynos can count 12 guards in his eigh sight with the two spirits and who knows how many guards and no serious cover it does not look very promessing. With the guests when the guard mention the name Venom there is quite an interest, some guests try to get as close to the drama as possible while other run to the in doors, but nobody seems to be indifferent to the happening.

@Athos it is impossible to miss the happening, you can spot Luna and Mr. Andu moving toward the happening. Luna seems to be ignored but Mr. Andu seem to be very much respected by the guards - almost like thier suppirior. At the moment however he does not seem completely in the loop.

Athos moves to get closer to what is happening, placing himself alongside Mr. Andu.  He nods at the Yak boss and says, "Mister Andu-san, can you help?  My partners and I were chasing a dangerous criminal named Venom.  I am not sure what relationship he has with you, but there are rumors.  The man escaped and my associates are now caught up in some tragic comedy of errors that looks to be spiraling out of control.  Neither of them is Venom, but things have got a bit out of hand.  I see that you have respect here.  Is it possible for you to get these men off the island and free rather than have this escalate even more?  It would certainly be worth a favor owed you."

Maxwell had been playing along with Kynos' ruse but he doubts he's going to get off the island alive with the way things are going.  He stops sustaining the spells on Kynos to regain his concentration.  "Damn I should have used my other escape idea, that would have worked.  I'm going to be spitting out pieces of my broken luck before this night ends."

Maxwell whispers to Kynos.  "I have another plan, but i'll have to submit myself to this lunacy for it to work.  You should get off the island if you have the chance."

"Don't worry," whispered Kynos, "I'll get us to the edge of the island. We jump into the water and you get one of your spirit thingies to ship us away. I'm banking on the fact that they want you alive - or rather not shoot someone with so many witnesses. On second thought, worry a lot and tell that damn maze to make us an exit there."


Aloud he called: "Maybe you didn't understand me: I am in hot pursuit of this man. According to the international guidelines of law enforcement that grants me the right to bring him back over state lines as long as there is no other claim by recognized law-enforcement agencies demanding an arrest on their soil.
AND I DON'T SEE ANY FUCKING POLICEMEN HERE, ONLY A BUNCH OF WANNABE FASCIST BLACK SHIRTS WHO COULDN'T FIND THEIR OWN ASSES IF THEY WOULDN'T HABITUALLY KEEP THEIR THUMPS INSIDE."

Kynos knew that what he said was utter bullshit, but he banked on the fact that a) those security people weren't that well versed in international law either and b) they'd be to concerned about his vile insults.

While he made his way backwards to the lake shore he called out again:
"I really mean it. If one of you wastes of space monkeys tries to stop me, I'll geek that guy and take his head back to Seattle.
That will leave me 10.000 short, but that's nothing compared to how short he'll be."

@Athos Andu say "I'll see what I can do it appears that your friend are in quite a stalmate, this is bad for everybody. About Venom, one time when you have some time I will tell you who he is, but he can take care of himself. I know that Venom is not that friend of yours, and the one that holds him is quite popular among my men they treat him as a hero, for geeking Venom."


@Kynos and Maxwell - You get the impression that most of the guards will actually be releved when the mage is geeked. Infact it appears that were they less diciplined they'd fill Maxwell with taser darts. Therefore in a way perhaps some of them even hope that you'd kill them. Mr. Ando breaks from the gurds and say "Oh senior Kynos, it is good that you came here, your crimanal mage friend is indeed quite the headache and senior Jones was looking for someone that can take him out of here safely. Few people are capable of such fit at such a short notice. For you my friend I'll make a short cut. Andu signals the guards and they fire at the mage one after another until he falls down unconcious.


We can roll initiative if you'd like, but the way I see it, Maxwell is going to be unconcious unless he is extremely lucky.  The guards are more worried of having  criminal mage walking free than about having Kynos kill the mage.

Once Maxwell is unconcious, Mr Andu will allow Kynos to get him quickly far away from the island.

Maxwell knew what the older man meant the moment he said it.  He wrestles out of Kynos' grip and dashes slightly in front of him.  Stopping to let the taser darts strike him, one by one he could feel the electrical surges coursing throughout his body.  The pain was excruciating but short lived.  It doesn't take long for him to be knocked out and to fall to the ground.  Darts are sticking out of Maxwell's body like a pincushion, sending the occasional jolt into him. 

I'm going to say that I have a full Stun CM now.

@Athos and Kynos Mr. Andu smiles and say "This headache is all yours Mr. Kynos... Thanks for taking this mage away from this island." To the guards "Make room, that guy is doing you a favor... nobody is going to take an uncooperative mage from you when the city is at this state of chaos. You obviously could not contain that mage for more than a few minutes... He was out of your leauge." Mr. Andu's confident tone and the fact that the guards seemed to listen to him does the trick and Kynos is allowed to leave the island conflict free as long as he does so immidiently.
