Maxwell's stomach started to grumble and he shifted around uncomfortably in his seat.  He looks in the back of the car briefly before settling in.  "Well thanks for the vote of confidence.  I'm not really doing much right now so I might take you up on that offer.  Speaking of Luna, I remember I have unfinished business with her."

Maxwell closes his eyes and whispers out to the astral with enticing words and binding magic.  "I call forth the beast of the pit to join me, this rage is yours.  For one day we will all go into that searing inferno.  One day we will all go into the fire."

Something is wrong, something is different somehow.  Maxwell's eyes snap open and his nose starts dripping blood like a leaky faucet.  His pinches his nose closed and tilts his head back slightly.  "That's weird, i've never seen one go out of it's way to not be summoned like that.  I've seen them get ornery and stubborn but... what the hell was that?  Something feels off and strange now.  Maybe i'm more tired than I thought."

Maxwell lets go of his bloody nose to see if it's still bleeding.  Fortunately it stopped but left him feeling very lightheaded.  He shakes his head and says to Athos.  "Actually on second thought, I need to head back home and get some actual rest.  I've been running on fumes for a little too long."

Kynos shrugged: "Don't mind the steady pay. As soon as we have bagged Venom I'll be ready to lay down some indiscriminate hurt where you need it."
Watching Maxwell's little blood fountain stunt he said: "Watch it. Unless you don't care to leave your DNA at my future crime scenes."
But he actually smiled saying these words, taking the sting away... and putting it somewhere else entirely.

Maxwell yells back at the elf in an annoyed voice.  "Oh fuck off!  You're just jealous that I can give myself a really brutal blood job whenever I want."  He would have gone on but his head was throbbing like crazy.  Waves of fatigue washed over him, enervating his anger and replacing it with sloth.

@Minnie Gi insanely speeds the boat far beyond specification and without regards for personal safety toward that boat. Sadly, the drone seems to keep up and despite his efforts but at least you are now at jumping distance from the boat. He screams at you “Jump!” He is preparing to jump himself, but his jump is cut short as the next burst, hits his back in two places, taking him off balance.  In the meanwhile, the drone takes the time to stabilize and prepares for another full automatic burst to finish the job.

(The second combat action of Venom was a breakaway toward the boat, you are now pretty close to the boat. Venom man)

The community general is a Catholic charity hospital that treats people free of charge. A place of neutrality and a place where opposite gangs often meet to negotiate, as it is considered rude to appear in the catholic hospital armed. it is a 20 story building.

Athos looks at Sovereign with concern when his nose starts to bleed, but remains silent when it looks like it is nothing much.  He asks Balls to deliver them to Community General Hospital.  When they arrive, the three leave the car, with Athos carrying the with the body.  He asks Balls to wait as they are still in KE garb and will need a ride back to somewhere else. 

Entering the hospital, he tells the others that they are going to the roof to meet Luna and drop off the body.

@Athos and Kynos oddly enough out of all the places in the city community general seems peaceful. There are many wounded, dead and their doctors and mages seem to be drained up and wary but unlike the rest of the city they are not fortifying themselves and apparently were not attacked by the zombies. On the roof of the building there is an helipad and Athos is happy to find Deep Blue in her KE colored modified wasp. She seems to be talking quite intensely with Luna. When you arrive Deep Blue kisses Athos passionately and then slaps him in a force that would knock a smaller meta sapient to the ground. It seems to come natural for her, she is quite a forceful orc.

Deep blue shows you where to place the body and after a short smalltalk, enters the small chopper and departs to the sky, leaving you alone on the roof with Luna. Luna gives Athos with a chip that contains a conversation with some Decker called DarkFox, from the conversation it is clear that DarkFox has some very powerful leverage about Road runner but the decker is smart enough not to mention it and coerce Road Runner into Stealing the security system from prison,  serving Gerald with nanites infested food to force him to install the system and then building a dry wall and waiting inside the building until it is time to explode. From the correspondence it appears that she waited inside the walls for four days. The chip also includes visual evidence recorded by an helmet camera or cybereyes about the meeting with Geraled, the breaking and entering to the prison and waiting inside the dry walls for a long while.  It is clear that the video was edited to remove non relevant images and messages but these that are stayed there are cyptographically verified to be unchanged. To fake a signature like that requires a super computer the kind that few exist in the world. 

@Maxwell it appears that Strawberry's domain was unharmed in all the Chaos in the city. You find it as peaceful and if any a bit crowded, the joke is swarming with people and many also placed tents on the roads and around her special tree. The amount of offerings on that tree covers most of the accessible area of that tree and people seem to worship around the tree as you move to your new house you find it peaceful and relaxing and the refrigerator was filled with fresh supplies.  Not having a ninja assassin waiting at your door step is a significant bonus to this place.

Athos returns Blue's kiss with fervor, accepting the slap with aplomb.  He grabs her as she turns away and pulls her back to him for another kiss.  "Call me if you get back and make sure the bed is either cheap or very sturdy because it will be well used.  And do not wait too long.  Miss me as much as I will miss you.  There is going to be a new order here and you can be part of it.  Think about it and call me."

He lets her go, shaking his head and rubbing his jaw.  The woman can hit and is hell in the sack.  Definitely his kind of woman.  Turning to Luna, he takes the chip and slots it to read it, sharing the data with Kynos and Luna if they are interested in watching.  He nods his head.  "This might just do it.  Either of you know this DarkFox?  I will get this to my Family contact at lunch and see where that leaves me.  Right now it is back to the NH or some other place where I can get my suit cleaned and pressed for the Gates.  You coming Kynos or do you want Balls to drop you off somewhere?"

Turning to look at Luna he says, "And what about you?  Do you want to be part of my plans for the Family?  I could use your skills and would certainly like to get to know you better."

Maxwell was riding along to the hospital with the others to meet up with Luna.  He makes it inside before changing his mind at the last second and telling them that he's going to walk home.  The Drain left him in too much of a vulnerable state to do or add anything useful.  Deciding it'd be better if he just slept it off and reconvened at another time.  Before leaving he tells the two cyborgs to call him tomorrow or later tonight if they have need of him.  With that he walks out of the hospital and makes a lonesome trek back home.

Sometime Later...

The walk back home wasn't that bad all things considered.  After he figured out where he was and stopped going around in circles he eventually made it back to Redmond and the Joke.  Seeing Strawberry's place largely unaffected was kinda nice, not having to worry about returning home to rubble and ruin was a joy unto itself.  The refugees however could fuck off and die for all he cared.  The last thing he needs is superstitious morons forming a witch-hunt.  Maxwell heads inside his house and takes a load off.  Stripping out of his armor and clothing and taking a long hot shower.  He stands inside it for quite some time, just letting a barrage of near-scalding water continuously hit him.  He twists the knob to off and gets out of the bath, standing in front of the mirror now to look into it.  He peers deep into his own reflection, seeing his scruffy beard made him laugh humorlessly.  He finds his knife and wets it and his face slightly before sliding it along his mouth and neck.  Showered and clean shaven, he walks into the kitchen and raids the fridge.  Maxwell smiles brightly and grabs several apples out of the fridge.  Greedily gorging himself before going to sleep.

Kynos had to admit: Athos had style and balls. Maybe it was his age, he reflected, but he certainly would never even have dreamed to entertain that many different relationships - especially not in front and in the face of two women who were both willing and able to do grievous bodily harm to all kinds of people. 
To Athos question he said: "I'm going to fetch my bike, get a bite to eat and take a nap on some rooftop at the waterfront. I want to be in position when we regain contact with Minnie or when the hacker can give me the location of Venom. Thanks all the same. I'll stay in contact."

Now that he had reminded himself of this he called the hacker again: <<Any news about Venom's movements? Are they still on the island?>>

@Kynos DemoX texts you, >>you may be a badass but your timing sucks, I am shooting at him right now. Your gorgeous friend have brought him naked and unarmed to the boat. Who'd believe a single lightly armed rotodrone can be the end of him.
(Actually the combat should have been over before (and DemoX would have notified you either way) but I have no idea who 'wins' or what would Minnie do and if DemoX actually going to kill Venom or just wound him so either we wait for Minnie or we keep that undecided for now. )

@Athos Deep Blue kisses you and in a way she is not mad at all, even tough you kissed her friend. "Order is for politicians, I am in for the life style and life style requires living.

This delivery is already non professional but personal... a bad habit in my job. I gambled that I could use the chaos and sneak in for a quicky as the KE are too busy to chase me.  Don't fool yourself, I humiliated them in that prison. Winter will never let that go, I destroyed his career. I need to do some troubles in some other place until it is save enough to return."

When Athos mentions Dark fox Luna laugh "Probably just a wannabee for the legendary Vixen." She politely refuse to interfere with Mafia affairs and said "I don't do THAT anymore... I send others to do THAT - it is more healthy for the long term."

The last words were already fading away, since Kynos had begun to ran down the stairs to the waiting car.

Minnie jumps to toward the boat and takes Venom with her. She did not expect him to be too heavy and the strength in her legs is not enough to complete the jump. The ice cold water welcomes them with knife like pain and the drone lunches another burst, but Venom dives deep under water avoiding the the people on the boat seems very empathtic of Minnie and help her up and offer some blankets "What happened... what happened ? Do you come from the island? what's going on did they start shooting at refugees? " They ask Minnie with great concern, for themselves perhaps. Minnie's attention remains on Venom but he is nowhere to be found at the moment. The drone seems to circle the boat angrily trying to get a lock. Of it's target.

Once I catch my wits on the boat and take stock of the situation, I realize i must act fast if Gi is to survive this.  Realizing there is only one flyspy and it has ventured close to the boat in search of its prey, I clamber up the side of the boathouse to the roof and take a running jump up and across the space between us.  Grabbing the flyspy and with both hands in mid air, I use one hand to smash the side with my gifted and trained fist.

Minnie people are surprised at your resolve and you perform the jump in the same lucid grace that world class athletes have when they break their personal records. You transformed in their eyes to more than human, a miraculous athlete doing the impossible. The drone made a mistake, it approached too near to the boat trying to spot Gi within the passengers. there is not much else that he could arrive. It was close enough to allow you to jump the mechanical beast and short it circuits. Not that anything like that is necessary, your weight alone was enough to bring the drone into the water and once submerged in water the rotors have too much  resistance to continue spinning.

The decend to the water was graceful, and only a moment before touching the water you notice that people are cheering. Clapping their hands in excitement and screaming at you with love. As your naked body meets the water again you are reminded again how cold these water are, for a brief moment you think you spotted Gi in the crowd as well. If it was him he is now missing his cyber-arm.

Kynos you can almost hear the emotion in these words, DemoX sends you a massage from his DNI and the letters contain such a deep feeling of loss >>The darn mouse can fly... she JUMPED over my drone and submerged it in water. I could have had him but that darn mouse... I think she fell in love with him or something, all that stood between her and the reward is to do nothing or perhaps finish that scumbag when he was down. Throwing a sharp object at him or something. I should have stated with the mouse dammit.

Athos, stunned for a moment, reaches for his commlink and sends a text to Strawberry and Nagisa.  >>Hey.  Athos here.  I was just informed that Yulia may be in some sort of trouble on the water near Embassy Island.  I am far away and it will take a bit of time to get there.  Can either of you check the situation out while I drive there and let me know what is going on?<<  He nods to Luna.  "Thank you for your help.  I hope that we will see each other again.  Sooner than later."

Waving to her, he heads for the elevator and descends to the lobby and leaves the hospital.  Climbing into the car, he looks at Balls.  "You have been very helpful today.  Please take us back to the NH where I can get my van and swap clothes."
