Maxwell cannot miss that the Troll is Athos and he is carrying his oversized gun.  Amy quickly dress and seem to control some security drones their direction, they seem to be heading toward the intercom, Amy getting the drones in formation for attack.

The crazy mage is protecting that asshole Venom and DemoX was trying to kill him.
I am not sure how she discovered that but she bossed us around like a Yak captain to go and fetch her the dwarf. Andu say that we need to do what she say -  but her orders never make sense and she never pays or thinks about our side of the story, we got to make a living you know.

We brought him to her and she did not even question him, we waited for a few hours and then she just told us to let him go. No reason, no nothing, insane I am telling you.  I mean - if she wanted to talk to him or kill him I'd understand but why bother if she wastes our time for nothing?

Moral was low we spent an entire day on her whims and did nothing productive so I suggested to sell the dwarfs to one of his loan sharks. There is an 8% 'finder fee' for people like 'Boom Boom'."

he smiles when he say the name, apparently balls find it ridiculous. Then he regain composure and continue;

After the conversation was over, Kynos borrowed again the car and drove to the casino - trying to get a place at the secure parking lot of the casino.

Reluctantly, Kynos only wore his lined coat into the casino since his other armor would probably be create more problems for him than it would prevent.

So he found himself inside the teeming hive of gamblers a little while later without weapons or decent armor.

His first action therefore was to go to the bar and to order two bottles of their strongest alcohol and two cigars.

Blissful sleep was to be disturbed by a rude awakening.  He rubbed the freshly made fang marks in his neck as he got dressed to greet the guests.  Maxwell hasn't recovered to full strength yet.  The blood donation he made to Amy only worsened his physical condition.  Still he stood and prepared for the worst, armor and clothing madly thrown together.

As you make your way to the intercom several roto drones follow you from a far but are not engaging.  Finally when you reach for the Intercom Faith say "I need to speak with the customer."
Amy replies "This is me, what is the matter..."
Faith answers "We are sorry but the *Food* have escaped and the delivery boys are all dead."
Amy replies "No food? You better sort this up I will not tolerate this kind of behavior."
Faith answers "We are working on this - next week will be better."
Amy replies "It better be better, next week or I'll find alternatives."
Faith answers " Again, my sincere apology. "


Then Amy turns of the intercom and laugh - "It seems like they are just as scared of me as I am of them. I guess I should start eating pixies then... they are going to keep them coming. If Grail ever come back he better not find out that I canceled his subscription, he'll literally kill me.

Any idea what might have happened to the smugglers? "

@Athos The tension levels drop as the vampire accepts the apology. Faith seems unhappy - "That is rather strange that he did not accept it in person where he'd be strongest. Quite easier for us tough, lets move out there is nothing more to do tonight."

Maxwell smiles with her.  It was good to see her laugh and make jokes.  She had been through enough.  He caresses her shoulder as he leans beside her saying.  "Don't worry, Grail's gonna have to go through me to get to you.  And the smugglers were killed by a fire elemental I summoned."  Maxwell shrugs like it was no big deal when he tells Amy that.

But no, not yet. Those bottles and the cigars are meant as a gift or peace offering respectively.

Athos nods.  He is very uncomfortable with the entire plan of providing pixies for vampires to eat.  He can live with organized crime, but slavery is not on his acceptable activity list.  He will need to have a chat with Faith on this issue later.  For now he follows her back to the new quarters.
