Deltaware arm: 5
4 mods (armor, strength, agility, cyberweapon) -2
So a cyberscanner needs a 3 hits or better to find it. Not bad.
That's an extremely harsh interpretation of the word Implants on pg 366. The Cyberarm is 1 Implant... the other stuff is part of that Implant taking up Capacity not additional Implants. Or are Cybereyes now counted as +10 implants as well?
ok so the gun is still dectable is what you guys are saying right and how does having delta ware eefect the arm both rules wise and in gameplay
Delta makes the Threshold to Detect the Arm 5+, if it's your only Cyberware then basically it will pass any Standard or Advanced Security systems. Airports at Rating 5 might find it if they are lucky (10 Dice against 5 Hits is well above average rolling) & Super Secure sites at Rating 6 will find it a lot more often (12 dice against 5 hits.)
The only problem is that EVERY mage issue going to see it immediately not because it's 'ware (Delta makes even Assessing difficult cause it's rarely a High rated skill) but because it's a Weapon Focus. I'm guessing that the Spur is the actual Weapon Focus... which means that you are carrying around a Forbidden Weapon at all times that makes it shine like a beacon on the Astral Plane. Any respectable Awakened citizen is going to call the cops about it just walking around. Wage mages are going to prevent you from Sneaking it anywhere Sneaking it in is all that relevant. Going Obvious Cyberlimb with Bulk Modification is also defeating the purpose as well... 1 arm that is just visually noticeably larger than the other. That's a simple Perception Test of Normal for 2 with a +2 Bonus for something that sticks out in some way. Having an asymmetrical body contour is going to trigger a human brain as being wrong. Course that's assuming that you aren't trying to put a SMG in a regular Smuggling Compartment & are using the Large Smuggling Compartment needed to fit a SMG in.
So basically... you have an invisible piece of 'ware to Visual, Sensors & Astral Sight but then you made it glaringly obvious to Visual & Astral Sight. It even being Obvious Cyberlimb is kinda defeating the purpose of it being an undetectable piece of 'ware if that's your goal. Long sleeves & gloves does cover it but might not always be the appropriate dress for the climate. Someone wearing long sleeves & gloves in the summer is highly suspicious behavior... that's something that every time I've seen someone dressed like that was a drug addict (literally seen people riding bicycles in full sweaters with the hood up in +100 degree weather in August before.) So again... not hiding an invisible piece of 'ware very well.
