Giving a light shrug, Serge replies, "I've seen better and I've seen worse. Must be a good sign for my current relationship that I didn't do much flirting." You see the higher ups don't want me to do any police work due to the funding negotiations - but you can't run a city like that some things are urgent.  The problem is if I send any of my knights, I may get fired - my people are not exactly known for being very stealthy.

@MXN - "Aint that the fucking truth."  Memories of Maxwell's childhood echo throughout his mind.  Ghettos, slums, hopelessness, depression, misery, and bitter rage was all that sustained Maxwell back then.  All because the government wouldn't recognize him and his family as human beings.  A wretched grimace appears on Maxwell as he wells up with disgust.  Turning to MXN he says: "Well if your'e not here to off me then I think i'll abscond from here for awhile.  Unless you have a different idea."

Few minutes ladter, you are a bit edgy and that human you never noticed before is giving you very creepy look. One of the cops tells you "The captain asked to talk to you, Maxwell, follow me please"
