@Serge Carefully examining the room you sense that the puddle of blood is very fresh. There are also small blood drops on the walls next to it. You are a physician you can tell, someone was wounded, perhaps killed in this very room you are in not long ago.  There is dust on the tables, this classroom was clearly was not in use for quite a while, it is unusual for the Brain eaters to abandon this kind of equipment.

Noting the freshness of the blood spill and the splatter on the wall, Serge pulls his comm and checks the coordinates, zooming in if possible to try and increase accuracy.


Also, classroom door locks tend to not require a key from the inside. This one is like that, right?

@Serge - the lock cannot take a direct predator hit. The door is effectively unlocked... You can hear that some of the flying drones approach due to the noise but as they can't sense you they just hover for a short while by the window before losing interest.

Serge's heart skips a beat as he sees the drones outside the window, and once they depart he moves to carefully push (or pull as the case may be) the door open, checking the hallway. If the coast is clear, he slowly steps out and moves stealthily toward the source of the screaming.


Not too good, but given the -7 penalty from the spirit granting Concealment, it should suffice.

@Serge you see a big trid projector, it is showing something that appears to be a very bad horror trid. You are in the third floor, there is a balcony and a big hall. You can see people watching the trid at the first floor. Due to the loud trid they did not notice the gunshot. You can see many more class rooms on your level around the main hall, as well as the stairs. The second floor seems to be design the same, a ring full of classrooms and the stairs. The first floor seems to be one big hall, filled with specially designed chairs. The 3d trid is projected all int he middle hall.

Carefully staying near the wall away from the balcony's railing to avoid possibility of detection (ooc: maintaining my stealth), Serge carefully circles around checking each room, one-by-one looking for the prisoner. If no one is found on this level, he continues down the stairs to floor 2 doing the same.

The entire lobby is enchanted, you are unsure exactly how, but everything in there glows in the astral. Even the stairs and chairs.  The only thing not enchanted are the outside walls and the doors with the locks.
