Mystery smiles at you... "Well if you are already here, I guess you will figure it up eventually...  I'll just let you in." He touches the manikin ear and you can see that the floor move revealing stairs down a basement.  "Your friend is first door to the right along with the rest of our LAN party"


As you go in mystery guy closes the door behind you. You will have to figure out how to open it on your way out.  You end up in a large basement with generators and storage booths filled with junk - ancient junk like electronic computers, printers a fax machine and CD rooms. You are surprised to see a few closets functioning electronic computers over 50 years old. Unlike modern computers they make a lot of noise and generate heat as they operate.  If you follow his instructions you reach a large room marked 20 12.  The door is closed and you can hear activity from inside, people are drinking and talking. You are uncertain how they will react to you. There appear to be quite many at the other side of the door.

Maxwell sighs heavily and groans in lamentation.  "I should have threatened him instead."  Maxwell turns to Serge and angrily says:  "You take point, I'll lean back and follow."

Opening the door, Serge says in a boisterous tone, "Hey, how's it going? You decide to start the party without me?"

Papa Ratzy followed after smirking to himself, as he slowly lowers his camera, still filming but not his focus. "Hey guys! Is Pi Rat in? Ive got some new film for him to go over, and you should have seen these guys faces with that pile up there."

You can see many people jacked in some very archaic matrix connection. You can swear that it is previous generation matrix - The wired kind! Others are examining technical documents and seem heavily at work trying to figure out how to replace damaged parts of some computer with modern technology.
Papa Ratzy identifies his old buddy, Pi Rat that high five him in some odd out of fashion geeky manner.
Pi Rat say "Papa!!! how are you buddy! So you came for a documentary? We did something amazing here. We managed to bring back to life a foundation server. It was lost in first matrix crush... this stuff is ancient and amazing.  Who knows what knowledge was forgotten inside. Our explorers are now expediting it. You should totally make a film about it, this stuff is awesome and will make a lot of money"

Some other guy invites you in and offer you some pizza and beer.

With a goofy grin and gravelly voice Maxwell exclaims: "NERDS!"

@Maxwell - a geeky lady tells you "Geeks! there is a difference. I am Amy... what's your name?" She is very short and a little overweight, but seems very confident of herself.

While the others are talking--and thus distracting gangers--Serge scans the room looking for someone fitting Mango's description.

@Serge Mango is there connected with a cable and is 'sleeping' in one of the beds. He looks wounded, and his physical shape is bad - but there are no external signs of injury.
