been wondering, can you put Cyberware scanner and MAD scanners in say a pair of glasses?

Senors go in housing (single or Array).  Housing goes into armor, vehicles and the assorted handheld or mounted options.

AFAIK Sensor functions don't go into contacts, glasses, earbuds, ect. those devices have specific options that can go into them.

Except Sensors can be put into devices that have capacity. What
you can put your sensor in is limited by the Rating of
the sensor (see Sensor Housings table).

sensor housings
RFID, audio or visual device, headware 2

course my next question is how much do MAD and cyberware scanners actually cost?

By RAW you are incorrect in that sensors can go into any device with capacity.

Capacity is not strictly speaking interchangeable between devices.

For example capacity 1 in a cyberarm is NOT the same amount of space as capacity 1 in a car etc.

I know it's confusing and daft, but there you go.

Although if you're interested I built a custom piece of kit, a helmet with a sensor array in it.
You can find it here in the gear section if you do a search for "Ares Intruder".

Regardless sensors are too large to install into a pair of glasses. end of story.

Yeah, capacity isn't interchangeable.  Otherwise you could install Hand Razors in your Contacts and other silly things.  Monowhip earbuds?  Hydraulic Jack Monocle?

You get the idea.  Sensors Functions go into either a Single Sensor or an Array, Sensors go into Housing.

Given that Google glass had a camera built into it in 2014 I'm gonna say yeah, 2076 devices can also have cameras built in. Just run a common sense test past your GM and I'm sure they'd be fine with it

You don't actually need to waste capacity for sensors. Just get a sensor tag and put it where ever you want.
And since the rules seem to allow you to ignore the rating limit if you use perception and your mental limit, the results won't even differ from a hand held or installed apparatus...

Camera's can be built into glasses with the rules as is, completing disregarding sensors.

If you read the text in what a sensor can go into it's pretty clear it must go into a sensor housing.

Although I think this is daft its is RAW.
I had this discussion in detail and exhaustive length with Michael Chandra and after he went through the rules with a fine tooth comb I came around to his understanding of RAW.

I think it's daft but it is RAW, sensors must go into sensor housings.

Except for Jack Spade's comments about sensor tags, which is RAW but i also think is daft.
