Like many people I've got the 2072 Seattle book... I'm just wondering if there's some more up-to-date info on Touristville, the Bargain Basement and surrounding areas of Redmond Barrens moving into 2076/2077, especially stuff that would be appropriate for a street survival game.

Seattle 2072 was the most up-to-date that I know of. I'd have to read through some of the fluff in the 5E books to be sure, but I don't recall anything specific. Might have to check the later 4E Missions as well, they might have little bits and pieces of info. Haven't read the 5E Missions yet so can't speak to those.

I don't know of any up to date information, but I've heard it suggested that the 2076 Salish/Seattle Olympics were seeing some parts of the barrens being converted into facilities (presumably with heavy security cordons around them!), displacing the people who were living there.  But I don't think anything published has confirmed that or given any details.

The only thing I can think of that has changed significantly about the Barrens is the presence of TWO FREAKING DRAGONS! Clutch of Dragons (2074) talks of Kalanyr and Urubia, who both live in the Barrens. The latter is actually politicking with the gangs, possibly even trying to unify them. Make of that what you will...

If you read his post again, you'll see the source.
Would you want to go into a place where the resident had a drum-fed shotgun and can see in the dark?
