Improve Charisma wirkt. Wenn ihr irgendwie arrangiert, dass Mark den Zauber auf ihn sprechen kann und lange genug aufrechterhält, geht es sich auch ohne Edge aus.

Da zumindest Scipio recht bereitwillig teilt, was er weiß, könnt ihr auf Anfrage von dem Treffen mit Manisha erfahren.


Es ist für Mark eine Kleinigkeit, ein Bild von Manisha Hatsumoto in der Matrix zu finden. Die Jungs vom Hive können euch bestätigen, dass das tatsächlich die Halbjapanerin ist. Danach beginnt sich Mark zu schminken und einmal mehr in die Rolle eines nepalesischen Trödlers zu schlüpfen. Er kauft sich ein paar Maiskolben, eine Metallpfanne und etwas Kohle und macht sich auf den Weg zu Manisha Hatsumotos Haus.

Was tut ihr in der Zwischenzeit? Wir können davon ausgehen, dass er jetzt mal zumindest bis in die Nacht vor Manishas Haus Maiskolben grillt.

"Ok guys, give me a call when you have news on Manisha, I'll have to go back to work on time, since I left early today. I'll make sure I'm ready when the action starts - and meanwhile I can visit our dealer and see if he has anything for us."

Mit diesen Worten erhob sich Cinder und gab den beiden Runnern noch ein kurzes Nicken zum Abschied, bevor er sich auf den Weg nach Hause machte um nach einer kurzen Dusche zu Bett zu gehen.

  Ich würde ja gern einen Punkt edge opfern, hab noch mehr als genug, aber der Dealer wollte ja nicht mit einem Troll verhandeln.
Wie schauts aus wenn er das Wiesel anruft?

Am nächsten Tag, früh morgens, erstatt Mark der Gruppe Bericht:
Manisha Hatsumoto lebt in einem der Hochhäuser im Südwesten der Stadt, die in den 50er-Jahren gebaut worden sind. Die Sicherheitsstandards sind für Kathmandu nicht schlecht, aber nicht weltbewegend. Gestern Abend ist sie erst gegen 4 Uhr morgens heimgekommen, in Begleitung eines jungen Mannes. Manisha hat sich durch einen Fingerabdruck-Scan identifiziert und ist mit ihm gemeinsam hinein gegangen. Mark konnte in der Zeit in ihr Commlink eindringen und zurückverfolgen, dass sie im siebten Stock ihr Appartment haben muss. Die Blockade ihrer Tür ließ sich über ihr Commlink lösen. Das Licht hat nicht sehr lange gebrannt. Danach ist auch Mark heimgegangen.

"Well, that gives us two different options: We could break in and wait for her in her flat, or we catch her on her way home.
I'd say we try the first option - we'll play a loud trid to mask any attempts to scream and after we are done, we drug her so she wakes up in her own bed, maybe with an empty bottle beside her."

"Sounds like a good plan.
But... at some point we gotta take her to Johnson anyways, right? She promised us 6k for a lower-ranked scientist, even more for the one in charge. If we already take the effort of breaking into her house, probably taking out her boyfriend if he's with her and interrogating her... well, then why don't we take her straight to Johnson afterwards? Would save us a lot of trouble.

I know, I know, the temple will be alterted if their scientist gets abducted, but... if she's got the habit of going out until 4 AM with her lover, we could - how do you Nepalese say? Cook two meals on one fire: we interrogate the woman, leave her boyfriend alive and drug him, then we take her to Johnson and arrange the appartment to look like the two had a fight. Next day, the police finds a missing woman, her utterly drunk lover who says he can't remember what he did last night, and... perhaps a knife with her blood on it or... Mark could spoof some stuff onto loverboy's comlink that make him seem like a lunatic.
That way he gets the blame, we get our precious hostage and the 6000 nuyen, don't have to kill her boyfriend and the temple won't suspect that we abducted her."

"That could work. I'm not entirely happy with a full blown abduction, but on the other hand my sympathy for someone creating child soldiers isn't to high.
Right. We'll break in and wait for her. We'll just have to make sure she can't call for help through a commlink or panic button, which means I'll have to taze her. Our interrogation can therefore be conducted in the van, outside the city.
When we have the info we'll have to move fast - going in during the same night before she is missed.

Since we know when she came back yesterday, we'll await her tonight with a discretionary time window of two hours beforehand.
Mark you keep your car ready to evacuate us with our cargo. We'll need something to carry her out without arousing to much suspicion. A rug will do."

Next day in the evening, her plans apparently are different to last night's. Manisha and her boyfriend arrive around half past six in the evening, hardly half an hour after you started observing her house. You almost missed her. Only when the gate of her garage opens, you realize, it's Hatsumoto coming home.

"Shit, she's early. We need to get in and up to her floor before they do. Mark can you open the front door for us?"
Cinder trug seinen Mantel über seiner Panzerjacke und hatte alle Polizeiabzeichen entfernt - heute Nacht war er definitiv nicht als Polizist im Einsatz...

1) ich schätze, Mark hat sich nach icons etc umgesehen und kann uns sagen, ob er Verdächtiges bzw Kameras etc bemerkt hat? Ist der Lift online/ hackbar? Wenn nicht, schlägt Scarcrow etwas anderes vor, zB das Garagentor, irgendwas, was sie ein bisschen aufhält.
2) ich schätze mal, es gibt nen Lift, aber wahrscheinlich keinen, der einen Troll mit Titanknochen transportieren kann?


Scarcrow fluchte und setzte sich in Bewegung. "...and if possible stall'em out a little bit. How fast can you get into the devices? Would be great if you can make the lift stop at some levels or something like that."
Über die Schulter trug er einen billigen Polyesterteppich, der Mantel war zugeknöpft, er machte auf Möbelpacker (hat aber trotzdem seinen Motorradhelm auf).

"Consider the door open. Also, I will make the lift stop at every station. I sent you an ARO that shows when you can and can't move past the lift unseen. If you take the emergency stairs, you should make it in time. They are linked to the security system and open by my command."

Tatsächlich sind außen an der Mauer stählernerne Not-Stiegen. Scarcrow bezweifelt allerdings, dass sie sein Gewicht tragen können. Innerhalb des Gebäudes gibt es auch ein Stiegenhaus - aber selbst mit Mark's Verzögerung wird es schwierig bis unmöglich, vor den beiden droben zu sein.

Der Lift drinnen trägt den Troll leicht, aber ob du vor, nach oder gleichzeitig mit den beiden ankommst, hängt im Grunde nur davon ab, wie lange sie beim Aussteigen brauchen.

Mark kümmert sich um die Matrixangelegenheiten. Konzentriert ihr euch auf euren Part.

Scarcrow fluchte leise. Er hatte schon fast auf den Liftschalter gedrückt, als ihm ein Einfall kam:
"How 'bout that: we attack them inside the lift? If we both enter the lift at different stations, it shouldn't be too suspicious.
Just gotta wait till we're about to reach their floor, knock them out, Mark cracks the door for us, we drag them in and it's over."

<<Could work, but then we risk having witnesses. Attacking them inside their flat is the safest - especially if we can start the trid at the right moment.>>
Cinder zog Scarcrow  mit sich zu den Treppen und begann diese in flottem Tempo zu erklimmen.

Zeit ist ein kritischer Faktor. Bitte entscheidet in eurem nächsten Post jeweils, ob ihr zu den Außentreppen lauft (nur für Mark und Cinder eine Option), zum Lift, oder zu den Innentreppen.
@Jack: Zu welchen Treppen ziehst du ihn? Innen (langsam) oder außen (schnell, aber nicht trollgeeignet)?

Nachdem Scarcrow bereits vor dem Lift stand, nimmt Cinder die Innentreppen, so dass beide mehr oder weniger gleichzeitig oben ankommen können.
