In my campaign everyone is starting off SINless. They will all get rating 5 fake SIN's if they do the bonus objective on their next mission. I thought it would be fun if one of the fake SIN's turned in to a "Big Lebowski" run.

The scene in the beginning that kicks the run off where the Nihilist break in and flush Lebowski's head in the toilet and piss on his rug. The problem is that my players are paranoid, vicious, and blood thirsty. How would I accomplish this without a blood bath? I was thinking it could happen to one of the players when they were home alone. But I want all the players involved.

Any idea how to accomplish this without having the players paste the Nihilist and end the run?

Do it with only one of them, but choose wisely.  Take the decker, or the rigger or one with the combat paralysis negative quality.  The decker is quite good as most often they lack the necessary combat skills to do something against those guys and normally his/her first idea would be to look-up where thye came from and then he/she would need the help of the others to get to that person.  If I recall the film correctly (it's been a while) the other Lebowski was actually quite rich, so in shadowrun that means bodyguards, magical security and what not.  And they can't just kill the guy because that would bring too much heat on them, so you can block the vicious and blood thirsty part.  The paranoid part you can't but you can make that work in your favour.

That's a good idea I'll do it to the Technomancer. She only has one str. She's alittle paranoid cause Mitsuhama tried to abduct her. Maybe it can become a running gag.

I guess Lebowski can be a girl that could still work. Lebowski's daughter could want the Face's sperm instead of the Technomancer's. I gotta go back and watch it again. I think everything else pretty much works for a shadowrun.

Whoever you pick as "Lebowski" is gonna have to be in on it. You gotta pick the one who's most likely to go along with it, who's not gonna blab to the rest of the players until afterwards, and who also enjoys the spirit of the movie as much as you do. Also gotta make sure there's no one in the group who HATES that movie, or they'll just be grinding their teeth the whole time. (I had a Rifts GM take us to thunderra one time. I don't wanna talk about it.)

Also, those weren't the nihilists in that first scene. those were goons hired by the pornographer, whose name escapes me right now.

You might have already started on this, and if you have then what advice I'm about to give now is going to be too late, but maybe I can offer some help in solving problems.

The main problem of running something like this based on a film is that you might be very inclined to lead your players around by the nose, and even fudge die rolls so that they don't get too badly hurt during the adventure.  Try not to do this if at all possible.

Secondly, The Big Lebowski is a reiteration of The Big Sleep, in which the detective goes around looking for the wayward daughter, or in this case wife, of a wealthy man in a wheelchair, and find the people who are behind it.  The Coen Brothers did a fine job, even if, in the end, nothing really happens.  The nihilists and the Big Lebowski both tried the play each other for fools, and neither of them achieved what they were after.  And the Dude got his car destroyed, one of his friends dies, and he's basically back where he started, except that he's got a child on the way that he'll probably never see.  The point here is that a session where nothing, in the end, happens, even if the PCs get experience for it, might rub them the wrong way.

The best thing to do is to change up The Big Sleep scenario a bit.  You can have a kidnapping that involves something lewd, a wealthy but crippled patron, and lots of intrigue from various angles, leading up to a showdown in the end.  You should watch The Big Sleep (with Humphrey Bogart) and Harper (with Paul Newman) for more information.  Harper is The Big Sleep, with some variation.
