Okay so below is my version of a Street Samuri/Face. I was originally going to go Elf, but we already had 2 and a dwarf so I went Human.

We've played twice so far, but I'm having to redo the character as one of my qualities was Signature and we had another person with Signature so I'm having to change that, as well I found out I'm using two items above the 12 rating so i need to change out the Synaptics Booster (Rating 3) to something else.

I'm trying to keep the Cyberware to a minimum as I don't want to get hacked and have stuff turned off (Hence the Glasses with improved vision and Smartk Link).

Originally I was going to go with a character like Deadpool/Wade Wilson, but when I found out that having two katana's was a no no (they are two handed swords.... lame) I decided against it. It also was quite odd seeing a guy walking down the road carrying two big swords. I had 20 throwing knives as well (they were part of the signature) so those will get taken away as well.

I'm also going to look into a holster that could hide the Sub Machine gun but I'm thinking if I read that correctly a Pistol or smaller is the only thing that will hold that.

Last night I got shot once and the dice were against me because I took 6 blocks of damage so I'd like to work on that and get a little more resistance if possible. Any suggestions??

Having ware turned off is not nearly as big of a concern as the internet likes to say it is.

Lower Skills priority and take Metatype D for 5 Edge. You can EASILY trim the fat with those skills.

How to be a better face: get Tailored Pheromones 3. Get better Con and a spec in Fast-Talking. Swap your Con and Etiquette stats, frankly. Get some armor from R&G that gives additional dice to social rolls and to Social Limit

How to be a better sam: get a retinal smartlink, Wired Reflexes 2 + Used Reaction Enhancers 3, and Orthoskin 3-4. Get Bone Augmentation 3-4 and switch Blades to Unarmed. Take Agile Defender.
Playability > verisimilitude.

O_o your running Resource A on this?
You need way more ware, spend that money or it's just a waste of points.

Both of your pieces of 'ware are out of line, not just your Boosters. Your Muscle Replacement is 20R. You could always go with the Restricted Gear quality for 10 Karma from Run Faster. Alphaware Muscle Replacement: 4 will cost you 156k and 3.2 Essense. Probably not the greatest investment, though. /:

I'd just take Whiskyjack's advice.

Yeah I've got the Restricted Gear Trait for the Muscle Replacement, I'm going to go with Whiskyjack's advice!!

I'll post the new character sheet later for more critique.. I knew there was something I was missing and Agile Defender was it thanks for that!

Your ware will not get hacked.
Like ever.
The GM will have to... Let's just say that this is a thing that NEVER happens. And if it does happen, - all you need is a simple/free action mental command to turn wireless off. The only guy who should worry about being hacked is your decker.
But you still can get your commlink hacked and your contact list stolen.

Yep. You definitely shouldn't be worried about intruder nanites, or any other methods of violating your wireless. Your GM will never use them against you.

If your GM uses that against you (and you are not currently up against a group of hostile hackers) then you should be thanking him for giving your decker some breathing space. It is almost impossible to one-hit-brick cyberware, and you only need to shut down wireless to be safe.
Nanites are a plot device anyway, if your GM wants you to get CFD, you're getting CFD, period. It doesn't matter if you have 'ware at all.

That's making assumptions I wouldn't care to build a bridge from.

Agents exist. Corporations have far greater ability to deploy them than your average runner.

That's an assumption too, don't you agree?

Don't get me wrong. I'm saying that a character surely can be afraid of evul matrix wizards but a player should not be. Don't let it hold you back.

Basic expectation of the setting, I'd say.

I'm not sure how you differentiate the two, but that might be a point we can agree on.

To me it means: a player should be covering broad-range bases of concern (having good Perception and defense pools, for instance) but shouldn't really worry about hard-countering every niche threat out there, because it'll result in a character who probably can't do much. A character might very well worry a lot about these niche threats in-setting, though.
