So I'm working on a character who was a member of Ares Firewatch before a nasty fight with a toxic shaman caused a mana spike that activated her SURGE genetics, and she got canned by a prejudiced higher up.

The question is, what level of SINner would be good? She has a day job flaw to keep her SIN active since it can be a boon as well as a hindrance. She'll have a fake SIN of rating 4 at char-gen, with plans to shoot it up to a 6 ASAP. Limited SIN seems to be worse the full Corp SIN as you are full in the global database while having little upreach in the corp, while full corp you only register as legal with only the corp itself having the full info. I'm thinking about going Full Corp, but what are y'alls thoughts?

FullCorp, especially since she is (now ex) Firewatch.

Check with your GM, see what works best for the game?   The full 25 point version can be pain for a GM.  And "Ex" would imply you're not so much with the corp these days.

Also note that her/his corporate SIN could be canceled with her employment. Leaving her with a national SIN as well.

As far as the Corp is concerned, her citizenship ended with her job.... (Especially if she/he was fired and not transfered...)
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???

Remember: You can't fix Stupid. But you can beat on it with a 2x4 until it smartens up! Or dies.

It wouldn't be canceled, it would just be treated as burned.  It may not even be that since they can still collect income tax from you even if you don't work for them.
