Granted a lot of this would not apply so directly to the runners since they are already outsiders using Fake SINs, but the concept is interesting, if a bit troubling.....

Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it (Go Offline)?

Interesting article and definately a concept I can see the corps using although I don't think it directly relates to a SIN it could easily be affected by it. For instance someone with a corp SIN could take a much larger credit hit than someone with a national SIN for buying non-corp products. Consider the following Scenario using a Sony credit score (it'd get complicated because probably every major corp would have its own rating along with probably national governments so buying an Ares gun would raise your ares score but lower your score with their competittors)
Bob the National SIN: 544
Doug the limited Corp SIN: 454
Tina the Full Corp SIN: 643
All 3 buy a renraku Tsurugi
Bob takes the lowest hit because he's not a Sony employee and while he's being "punished" they still want to draw him in, Doug takes a heavy hit because he's a Sony employee and not buying corporate products while Tina takes a moderate hit because while she is a full employee that comes with certain perks and someone in her position probably had a valid reason to buy non corp ware.
Bob: 542
Doug: 440
Tina: 639

They may be using fake SINs, but they wouldn't be exempt. Even worse, they might be using cloned SINs (linked to the original's activity, and vice versa, but "instanced" separately)... for that one player who wants the "used" discount on everything!

I just thought of that quality where you get mixed up with another person/identity and keep getting all their spam. Imagine their reaction "But officer I assure you I never spoke ill of the illustrious CEO or attended this rally in where was it? Querbeke? I don't even know with that is besides I was at work that day see my sign in and I'm recorded at these meetings."
