I was thinking about how great it'd be to have a Pain Editor for a Technomancer who focuses on Threading and Sprites. I need at least C in Resources to cover the Bioware. I was thinking this is what I'd want:

Used Cerebral Boosters: 1 (23,625¥)
Used Pain Editor (46,300¥ due to Restricted Gear)
Used Platelet Factories (12,750¥)
Used Sleep Regulator (9,000¥)

It's 91,675¥, so lots left over so I don't have to spend any Karma. I priced out regular grades with an extra rating of Cerebral Boosters and it was just too much for the small pay off.

I've looked at it a few different ways and I think that to be more well rounded I'm going to have to drop the Skills to pick up more Attributes. As a Human, having a higher Metatype priority to drop Thechno priority isn't smart if you have low Skills. So I think I'll go with a Sum to 10 build of:

A: Attributes
A: Technomancer
C: Resources
E: Metatype (Human)
E:Skills

I figured 4 more Attribute points are definitely better than 4 more Skill points. That makes my stats:

BOD: 3/6
AGI: 5/6
REA: 4/6
STR: 2/6 (bought with Karma)
WIL: 6/6
LOG: 5/6 (6)
INT: 5/6
CHA: 3/6
EDG: 3/7
RES: 6/6

Essence: 6.00
Physical Limit: 4
Mental Limit: 8
Social Limit: 6

Initiative: 9 + 1d6
Hot Sim: 11 + 4d6

Skills are gonna be super tight. Especially if we want any sort of Hacking or Computer.

Compiling: 6
Computer: 2 (bought with Karma)
Hacking: 2
Perception: 3
Pistols: 4
Registering: 6 (Data Sprites)
Sneaking: 2 (bought with Karma)
Software: 6

Does a Sleep Regulator and the Insomnia quality interact with each other in any way?

Any thoughts are always helpful and welcome.

Don't get a Pain Editor. Just get the echo that provides one.

PT TM is hard because PT wants high cash and TM wants to dump cash as it needs skills, attributes, and RES.
Playability > verisimilitude.

That must be a Data Trails Echo, because I'm not finding it in the Core.
