Had it not been the very first interaction the two of them had had together, and had it not been in front of our potential paycheck, Eugene would have laughed, too. That kind of thing doesn't go over very well as a first time introduction in a high pressure business situation. Try it in real life. See how many friends it gets ya. Madoff, my contact who works in a high end mechanic shop has a loyalty rating of 4. According to that chart, getting him to loan me a rank 6 targeting autosoft costing 3000 nuyen would be under the 5000 mark for a lvl 2 favor. He should be able to swing that, given enough time, right? Am i reading this correctly? If so, Eugene would be paying him for the merch once he was paid in full from the job, so a very short term loan.
