Doh, I conflated Ravener and Vanguard -- but while the latter is acting astrally, the former is not--and his actions could change what Forty does. So I've conditionally updated Forty's last IC post (where she worried about the mage using invisibility) and am posting the full if/else here.
(note that Harry already has his orders, and should be going after one of the enemy spirits on his action no matter what)
IF nothing has happened that makes it seem likely that the enemy mage is contained, Forty will jump out and commence suppression fire. (Yes, this is somewhat reckless, in terms of making herself a target, chance of side damage, and drawing attention. Maybe next 'month' I'll play a careful character, but meanwhile, it just seemed like what Forty would do)
====================================
first of all: yes, if the conditional IC posts stands, Forty both mispronounced and mis-used "Carpe Diem." I hope nobody is squeamish about abuse of spelling or grammar.
For suppression fire: Base pool is 12 dice, -1 for stun damage. Does +1 from laser sight apply for suppression fire? I'll roll it separately so it can be done either way.
Suppression fire 12d-1(stun)= pool of 11, limit 5
suppresive fire (w/stick'nshock):
11d6t5 4 and the extra die for the laser sight, in case it applies
extra laser-sight die:
1d6t5 0 So either way, 4 successes
If he ends up getting hit, by some miracle, it is DV5, AP -5 (electric)
A rules question now. Suppression fire runs all turn. Forty's action is on 19. Can she now go on full defense at some point without interrupting the suppression fire? If so, at what point can she do so?

ELSE she'll open the van door and position herself to get as much cover from the van as she can, and take aim at the general area of the enemy mage (I think can take cover as a simple action, but don't think she can see him clearly enough to get a take aim action?
