Lucien watches the interaction with some interest before settling his gaze on Kachina for her answer.
That's just like... your opinion, man.

Kachina could have seen Lucien's reaction coming a mile away. And well deserved. The woman named Forty had crossed a line, be it by lack of experience or headstrong personality. She could remember herself getting in trouble as a kid just because she felt wronged. Seemed the two women had a lot in common... Forty was no kid though, but what a temper.

She lowered her eyes. I apologize, Lucien. This is not how negotiation should go. I'm a firm believer when looking for runners a team should be called, not a series of individuals that know little of each others strengths and roles. It should be the Fixer's job to put that team together, not the Johnson. That said. I thank you for your trust and as such will accept your offer, hoping to convince all gathered here to do the same.

She looked at everyone of the runners:

Guys, we're all here because we each have a very specific set of skills that will prove useful on this run. And I hope you'll all agree to participate in that run. I don't ask anyone to trust me more than you would but I'll need everyone do their best to work together, so that we can utilize each other's skillset to their best advantage.
She waited for each one to accept or not the run, in particular Forty whom she nods at once [if] she does, before looking back at Lucien.

I'm sure now you will be bombarded with questions. For once I'd like to know before we go into specific, what the secrecy involved with this act so far. I am guilty of not having checked the news this morning. Are the Media involved already? how about the authorities? or did it remains in Shiawase's grip?

She looks back at Lucien.

Forty nods to indicate her agreement, then approaches Kachina, and asks softly "Can I apologize to him, or will that make things worse do you think?

Henway nods his head at Kachina's words.  "I'm in, he says simply, then steps back and crosses his arms across his chest.

'I am in as well' Ravener says firmly as he nods to the Johnson and Kachina.  He keeps an eye on Forty, hoping to avoid whatever set her off so severely. 'I will start looking into the Media angle, as well as polling the local boards to see if anything has shown up there.  Do we want to move our discussion somewhere more private?'

Negotiation not being his strong suit Anugus listens silently. Now that it seems the agreement is struck he speaks up. “I feel these terms are fine.” He looks impassively at forty for second seeing similarities in others he’s worked with even himself. He then turns back to the Johnson. “If you’ll take me I give my oath as reckoner I will personally see that these people burn, bleed, and or suffer for you.” He smiles a blood thirsty smile. “Tis a fine day for a man hunt,”

"I agree to these terms as well." VanGuard says sullenly.

Jesus frag. I am going to have to baby sit this old fart who appears to be the worlds biggest newb in the history of shadowrunning, aren't I? I managed to get the contract at least, so its not end of days just yet.  But just like loose lips, loose cannons also sink ships. Forty is going to need a short leash, and just who is going to get the lovely job of holding THAT leash?  There isn't enough Bliss in the world for me to take that drekshow of a job.  I hope she has learned her lesson.

'I will start looking into the Media angle, as well as polling the local boards to see if anything has shown up there.  Do we want to move our discussion somewhere more private?'

"I agree, we should meet elsewhere." Glancing towards Forty, "Preferably somewhere amenable to present company."

Lucien nods as the fee is accepted.  "At the Shiawase Towers, at the back entrance, find Lieutenant Harris.  He will grant you access to the building.  Currently, Shiawase is choosing to keep the area contained, there is no media, no authority but Shiawase.  After your look, Shiawase will open the scene to Knight Errant, but you'll have to act quickly as the longer it taks the worse it can look.  For now, Shiawase can stand behind standard protocols to keep everyone out.  This is my commcode, it's a burner.  Use it to contact me when the job is complete  That is you have discerned the culprit and halted them from any more actions following this."

Kachina whispered back at Forty when she asked her about apologizing.
No need, you'll get your chance when the run will be accomplished. The situation didn't escalate, now keep a strong front. Rather be seen as fierce than bi-polar. It's gonna be fine.

Kachina was pleased to see everyone had accepted the run. Another 10k would be more than welcome, danger or not.

Now she needed to know everyone's strength and specialties. She could see the looks Forty was getting but somehow the elf wasn't her main worry. The woman had a short-temper, so what... Kachina herself wasn't known to be tender when she get upset.
Her concerned laid more in the 'shorter' Troll whose face remained hidden behind his helmet. Burn, bleed, suffering and manhunt wasn't much of her liking. Bloodthirsty runners were bad for professional teams, they could taint their whole reputation. If she was to kill, and she had and will again, she preferred it clean and fast.

She was glad for the blond guy in suit's intervention to cool Forty down. Vanguard, was it?

Well, guys and gal, seems like we've signed up to spend some 'quality time' together. I'm curious to learn more about why you think you were hired but first order of action: what's everyone situation with transportation?

"I believe I was hired for this." VanGuard says with a wry smile as he points to one of his drones. "Of course I have more. I have a van as well. Like previously mentioned, I would be more comfortable discussing things more specifically somewhere less... public. Here's my comm code."

At the mention of the van, VanGuard nods towards his van overlooking the meet.

Henway shrugs and grins.  Might need a ride when I need ta bring da big toys out, but I got my bike here so yer shocks get a break today.

He starts to walk towards where he left the bike, then pauses and turns back around.  I get da idea dat we ain't got a lot o' time to scan the scene before dey let KE in, so if we needs ta have a sit down first we need ta do it now, if ya scan what I'm sayin'.  His face broadens into a wide smile.  Oh, and if da van is full I can take one on da bike if anyone needs a ride.

Taking a look around the park and seeing nobody in the immediate area, he adds, Oh, in case one o' youse ain't already hacked it, dis is my comm.  Someone send me a location if we's meetin' before we check out da scene.

"I agree with tall and trolly--sounds like we need to check the site soon, before the cops get too antsy.  Especially if cops starts hanging around the place-- I wouldn't like that sort of attention."  She looks around and hastens to add "Don't worry, I wouldn't get in their face or attack them these days.  That ain't a mistake that even I would make twice.  Here's my comm code, but it's a piece of drek that keeps giving me ads for hair products and meditation classes, so I wouldn't trust it unless you have to. "

Hurrying after the taller of the trolls, she calls back "Transport, don't got none but bus, feet, and spirit help.  And running at spirit speed is fun, but gets the wrong sort of attention.  So I'll grab a ride with -- what did ya say your name was, anyway?  I love the wind over my hair so I'd rather take the bike."

'Noting more than a quick blurb on the Media about the attack.  Shaiwase is keeping it quiet.  I recommend we talk while we move, link up for a shared call on those comlinks that can keep it secure.  That way we don't waste too much time, but can discuss our options.  My place here is obviously Matrix coverage, although I can handle a certain amount of long range support as well.  I can help set up and keep our discussion private by linking comlinks into my deck to keep them secure.' Ravener nods to his Gopher, 'I can also provide transport for someone who doesn't have a secure comlink so they can be part of the conversation.'

At Ravener's words, Forty stops following the huge troll and looks back and forth between troll and hacker, clearly torn.  "" Frag, Frag, Frag!  Why do they all have to be so logical?  Want to ride with the badass troll on a Harley, not be locked in a metal box with a human.. But I already screwed up, I need to toe the line. I'd take the banishment if it weren't for the money, but it is for the money, so..."

"Fine, I'll ride with Ravener.  Think the advance would cover a link good enough to bother with?"

Once they are underway and doing introductions she'll offer.  "Forty -- you already know to swear at me by that handle.  Sorry about back there, closest I've been to polite society lately is the Sqatter's Market in Redmond, and there the good bargainers insult you, your mama, your goods, your offer, and your rep, all while warming up.  I didn't realize this would be Sunday best manners instead.  Yah, I should have known, I screwed up."

"If you'll still work with me, I wrangle spirits pretty good  I'm quick, I shoot well for a non expert but my gunis up in Redmond, I'm OK in a brawl with thugs but I wouldn't want to tangle with Henway and honestly I'm better at bullying them so I don't have to fight.  I'm decent with walls, and I know a few alchemy tricks that work sometimes-- I'm not very good at that yet, but if you need a short boost to logic or willpower, wanna talk mind to mind, or scramble up a wall I'll see what I can manage.

The huge troll follows the back and forth between the other members of the new team that he finds himself part of, then nods.   Dis might be chill.  Forty's got spirit - hey, dat's kinda funny - but she gots ta learn ta keep frosty when it ain't cool ta bluster her way past drek.  Da rest seem like pros, so dis might work out.

Turning to Ravener, he replies in his rumbling, gruff voice.  Ya can all call me Henway, pretty much da only name I got worth knowin'.  My comm's internal and secure, ya can scan it if ya want ta check it out can't ya?  Without waiting for a reply, he continues as he looks around at the rest of the team, Since Fawtee here got tings started, in case it ain't obvious I'm here for mah good looks. And da big guns I can bring to da table when da job calls for it.  Pretty good wit mah hands if tings get up close and personal.

He winks at Forty, in a friendly way, not flirty.   If ya like bikes, da offer of a ride is open.
