Hey Guys,

i need a little help. It´s my first time shadowrun and i´m joining an existing group (adept-infiltrator, adept/mage-healer, weapon-master-adept, adept-hacker/spy-rigger). They play a lot of infiltration, but sometimes wetwork and they can use a face, or something like a "connection-hunter".
So i want to play a face, but i would like to play a rigger, too.
The focus of this character are the connections and some good influence and driving skills.

I need still 1140 Nyuen to pay for all of it. But generally i don´t know, wether the drones are effective and necessary. Or someting is missing.
What´s with the gear? Did i forget someting important?
I have 2 slots for connections left, what will be useful and what would match to the character-"background"?
The background will be someting like a smuggler.

So first: are you trying to be more a get-away car rigger or a drone rigger.  Also how many Bp do you have to work with?

Second: do you want to stay an augmented rigger or would an adept be acceptable.  I think an adept can pull off a face/rigger better than an augmented.  I do see your group is all magical so I didn't know if you just wanted to be different.

The Athletics skill group doesn't do much for you.  Running and swimming are for adept inflitrators and not that useful to you.

Flight is only useful for flying yourself (say if you have wings) drop it.

Fyi most gms just outlaw empathy software as its so cheap there is no reason anyone but a bum on the street wouldn't have it. 

For rigging, the response of the drone/vehicle is what's used in the test.  So you might want to upgrade the response of some of your drones

I would recommend against wired reflexes.  Just have some cram for the occasions your ambushed away from your vehicle.  I would also recommend against skillwires ( at least to start) you are going to be Nyuen starved for a long time.
Form fitting body armor is almost a necessity

My recommendations for a cyber build:
Change metatype to elf
Drop muscle toner
Skillwires, wired reflexes, tailored pheromones .

Grab a full obvious cyberarm- max it's agility and body.  Put in a good rating nanohive in the arm with control rig booster and limbic/neocortial( your choice)
Add vocal range enhancer
Add enhanced pheromone receptors
Grab an internal air tank ( to remove negatives of the above)
Grab a cerebral booster rating 2 and shift 1 attribute from logic to char
Shift 2 points of agility to edge
If you have the bp/resources you can surge and genetically improve charisma to max your base charisma to 10

In the end you can shoot a 1 handed gun ( pistol or smg) with 10 agil + gun skill+ 2
Your rigging should be response+ skill+4+2 (hotsim)
Face skills will be 8 + skill+ 3 (vocal and pheromone receptors)+ other bonuses
