I'm just curious as a Newb what stories have completely stunned the world in shock and awe in shadowrunner circles? If there are any at all.

Due to the secret nature of shadowruns, only legendary failures would be noticed.

For some fun tales of mishap why not try the C.L.U.E. Files courtesy of the wayback machine?
Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

Better then I expected. Number 4 had me in tears. I could picture all of it happening.

There are a few runs that have passed into legend, for various reasons.

Twist's last big run (from the Secrets of Power trilogy) is probably one of the earliest legendary runs in the Shadowlore. Teams making simultaneous strikes all around the world while Twist performs the Great Ghost Dance under the tutelage of Daniel Howling Coyote himself, to prevent an avatar of the Spider totem from causing SERIOUS trouble.

Queen Euphoria - A module from early on, where we're introduced to bugs for the first time.

Harlequin's Back - The Laughing Man basically kidnaps a runner team and throws them into the astral planes to stop the Horrors from building a bridge to our world.

Serrin Shamandar and company tracking down a Jack the Ripper copycat/clone produced by bankers to frame a dragon's megacorp so they can take it over.

Waverly and company running to get the inside scoop on the Universal Brotherhood.

Bug City.

President Dunkelzhan getting blown up on his way out of an inaugural ball.

EVERYTHING attached to the Will.

An AI taking over the Renraku Arcology in Seattle with the help of fanatical otaku.

Crash 2.0

The runs that exposed Technomancers and AIs to the world.

The runs that put the kink in the Tempo pipeline.

Everything involved in the Aztlan/Amazonia war.

Sirrurg's fall.

The sniper who took down Hestaby's chief shaman, and started the Great Dragon Civil War.

The run on the Albuquerque facility that exposed Fastjack to Sybil.

Pax's setting in motion the whole Boston Lockdown.
Greataxe - Apply directly to source of problem, repeat as needed.

I need to learn lore and fast. Please tell me there's a wiki for these.
