bnc moves the rotordrone the last few meters to the window of the room into which she saw Woden walk, ready to unleash fire at him immediately.

bnc concentrated on the sensor feed of her drone, enhancing and interpolating until she had a vague outline that was probably the elf behind the window. He seemed to be furiously moving his hands over his clothes.
Yet when she fired she saw him move in response.

Torrent had drawn his gun and changed the ammunition to regular rounds. In one smooth motion he drew and fired at the window.
A spiderweb made the glas blind, but the bullet proof glas kept the manufacturer's promise and stopped the projectile.

Even with the -3 from burst and the possible -3 from a stealth attack, he would have dodged.

bnc doesn't hesitate a split-second but immediately presses the virutal "fire" button. What she didn't reckon with, or calculate properly, was his supernatural reaction. The ammunition sprayed past him, missing the elf by inches.

Even more frustrating was the fact, that the gel ammo didn't actually penetrate the window and instead just made úgly smears.

Inside the elf had left the room through the door into the corridor - sensibly since now two people where firing on the window of his room.

Krestov noticed at once that one of the drones had survived Slobbertooths assault. With four quick steps the troll arrived at the loading station and stomped hard three times on the small walker.

Slobbertooth heard footsteps outside the garage and the closing of a door.

Meanwhile bnc noticed a sudden strong LAG in her drone connection. Somewhere a massive source of noise had activated at the same time shutters were going down and the light inside the house went out, cancelling even Slobbertooths natural low light vision.

Slobbertooth prepared to do one of his least favorite parts of the job: opening a door when someone knows you're on the other side. Slobbertooth copped the flash-bang grenade that Krestov had handed him, opened the door and crack, and tossed the grenade into the hallway.

Slobbers grenade was met with a hazy orange force field, bouncing the grenade right back into the garage.

After dispatching the final automated defense unit, Krestov turned to the garage door, opening it for Slobber tooth to lob his grenade.

The resulting bounce back was jnexpected...but not an issue.  While the ork dove for cover, Krestov remained, muscles tensing as the blast ricocheted off of him...leaVing him unscathed and ready for the impending counterattack...

The two runners had just enough time to dive behind the SUV to find cover before the grenade went up. The barrier ensured that the blast was confined to the garage.

The team knew it had to act fast or their prey would have time to go on the offensive.

The metal shutters stopped Torrent's assault on the window for a moment.
