A quick peak into the file confirmed that bnc had the right stuff: All relevant personal information of the staff as well as their security clearances with background checks.
It wouldn't take long to exchange a few of those for her team mates fake IDs, but if she did it now it was likely to contain errors that might get them in trouble later.
If instead she just copied it and locked out now to do it in her own time she could be sure to make it flawless. The drawback to this was of course that she would have to hack the host for a second time...

Meanwhile a waiter took Torrents order and asked: "... and for the lady? Or if you want I can bring the wine menu."

Now that she knows where to find the data, the highest priority is not draw attention. A fake entry cannot by forced while someone's pouring flour in your eyes.
bnc retreats from the restricted area and double-checks her overwatch score to decide whether or not she has to shut down the deck entirely.

After a quick double-check for marks on her commlink, you receive a message not from bnc but from Raquel Obermüller-Pauernfeind, the fake SIN bnc is using on the Fairlight at the moment.
"I've got the file. I will forge fake entries now."

That will be one Log+Int test or Log+Forgery if you prefer to determine the quality of your changes (dates of security clearances, time of employment, remarks on performance etc.)
Followed by a simple file edit check - and yes, a reboot would be a very wise course of action right now.

This is what I intend to do:
When I sense  the waiter  approaching  the table from behind, I'll suddenly push back my chair in order to stand and go to the toilet and make him spill the cocktail on me while I grab his comlink. If I sense a waiter carrying a big tray full of food and drinks I'll go for it.The greater the chaos, the better.

I only meant that I would like to fake the files and upload them before I shut down. Otherwise I would have to hack the host and file anew. I figured since I only rolled 4x Hacking on the Fly, 1x Edit File and 1x Disarm Databomb, my OS should still be low enough as to not come close to 40. If it's very high again, I will of course roll the whole hacking procedure again. Just lemme know.

Torrents action worked - almost to well.  The small Amerindian looking woman avoided running headlong into Torrents chair, but the tray full of cocktails isn't so lucky: Four filled glasses with various alcoholica tumble onto the previously spotless tabletop, splattering everywhere and soaking Torrents right trouser leg.
The shriek of the waitress and the tumbling glass give the elf more than enough access to lift the commlink. But only two seconds later the kitchen door opens and Valmont comes out - even more enraged then before. With a stream of expletives be begins to lay into the girl. With tears streaming she tries to apologize while also trying to stem the flood with a napkin.
Valmont only stops his tirade to tell Torrent that his meal is of course free.

Meanwhile, bnc had left the host for a moment to do her work on the files - a beautiful job she had to admit to herself.

Torrent makes sure to explain to the chef that the accident was his fault.


"If you'll excuse me now, I'll have to try and clean my trouser as best I can before my date returns to see me in this mess."

In the meanwhile, I managed to fake an entry, so we are in. I will try and extract other interesting data from the commlink. I'm on my way back."

bnc flushes the toilet and returns to her comrades.

The commotion could even be heard at the bar, turning heads toward that direction.
Bluebird heard the barkeeper mutter something that sounded very much like a curse towards this boss.

Torrent reached the toilet just as bnc made her exit.

bnc quickly slides the commlink into her neckline, then returns to the restroom. Let's hope this was worth it.

She plugs in the data cable directly and searches for interesting files.

I'm looking for the stuff we agreed upon, e.g. any hints on security, timetables or basically any specifics about the day of the big event.

The work commlink of Angela Nakuta contains mostly boring stuff, but there is indeed a series of timetables for various catering events. It seems as if those aren't a sought after job: Participation is mandatory unless a worker can find a substitute - and the waitstaff forum buzzes with requests for substitutes. A quick peek reveals why:
The catering event is an all expenses paid job with no tips opportunities. Instead all workers have to arrive one hour earlier than usual (1500h) and stay until morning (0600) to clean up again.
Another list turns up the requirements from security: The waitstaff has to enter the manor from the back where a security post and a metal scanner is established. After confirming identity and registration as caterer, the staff members receive security bracelets that make sure the various Anthro drones at the party don't confuse the staff for intruders. These bracelets also contain RFID chips to track the wearers position and make sure no-one leaves the designated work and serving areas.
The text also warns that the security drones carry tasers as well as lethal weaponry, so everyone should watch out where they are going.

The next part seems to be to good to be true: The staff all have received a floor plan of the pool house

Bluebird smiled at Krestov. It was admirable that he was trying to shake a habit, and doing so well at it. And, in all honesty, she was happy to have someone she could hang out with and not drink.

"Everything alright?" She checked in with the team over subvocal. She trusted bnc to get her end of things handled - she just worried about the aftermath of the commotion.
