I'm rereading shadows of Asia in prep for a big game I want to start running in the coastal waters of the Asian ocean. But I'm a bit jumbled up on what's happened here. There are references of war and such having happened over the area, but I'm not seeing where those solid details are. Can someone help me get a succinct rundown of the general political events that have shaped the area?

Sixth World Almanac has GEOPOLITICAL OVERVIEW of various regions (as of 2071)
War! has a section on hot spots: Nepal being the only Asian region included.

I'll have to look back over them, I didn't see much in 6th world, and don't remember war touching on anything other than south america but I'll give them another look.
