His name is Szafa, a Silesian ganger, also lieutenant, and he's a piece of really crude work. He's tough, strong, and both of those qualities were heavily enhanced by muscle replacements, and bone lacing done by some amateur. So now the dwarf looks like a crude sculpture, or even caricature of a bodybuilder. His biggest problem is that he has a heart of gold, but it proved to be an asset sometimes. He managed to broker a peace deal between his 'Kingdom'(the 'Left' one), and The Masked, and they did work for the dwarf once or twice - or so the rumor says.

How well if at all do I know him?
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Well enough to be able to contact him. Not much more, though. You've met once or twice, on behalf of your contacts.

- Mortimer, Clarrisa -> "Guys, is everything all right? you don't aneswer calls".
Clarissa sends you a personalized 'I'm busy' message through her Agent. Mortimer answers with a text: "I have nothing, man. I'm looking, but there's nothing there, it seems."
OOC: They both failed to reach any threshold for now. I remember about them, don't worry. You can tell they're both working on it, though.

Quote
- Mortimer -> "I got a bunch of antimetas looking for trouble, and I may need some help. Are you up to gathering some of your friends? We could meet at the match to talk  this out. Just let me know."
"CW, there's a big game tonight. And we're not in the best spot at the moment. Do you know anything about those frakkers, or is this just one of your cases?"
OOC: Loyalty (2) test failed.

Quote
- Clarissa -> "Hon. I have another question by the way. There is a masked gang roaming near the old road by the forest, they have a Shaman amidst them. Do you know him perhaps?"
No response here, besides another personalized "I'm busy" from her agent.

Quote
- Hutch -> "I am looking for Masked Gang, who to ask?" (50 yen attached)
"Pocket money, huh? You're getting cheap, CW. I remember the last time, though. Next round in Whiskey Barrel is on you. And when I say 'round', it means I'm going to drink till I drop. You can ask Szafa about that. Not the beer-lover, the dwarf from Right Silesia. I don't have his number though. Check out in the Pal Mall, in Silesia. He's usually there. If not, there's a small bar-stand on the second floor. It's owner - a bald guy named Wicek, or something, would know how to contact him. And if you could give a small token of my gratitude - 200 yen, or something - to an ork girl named Zosia, who works in a nearby second hand clothes store, I'll return it to you when we meet next time. Have fun."
OOC: Loyalty (2) test passed with two hits, and Charisma+Connection (4) test also successful with three hits (one net hit).

P.S. My new dice obviously like you. I was testing them, and Invisible Castle is time-consuming, so I hope you'll trust me on this one.

Not sure yet, but they might be connected with Lechia. Of course this is one of my cases. On the other hand, maybe I can help you with the game somehow?

Hey money don't grow on tree yet, and I haven't earned them yet, for drop-down round in Barrel you'll need to dig somethin' on BlackMan. Like who the heck they are, or who knows who the heck they are?

"Woah, woah, hold on your whiskey-bubbling horses there, CW. You know I don't deal in that kind of stuff, man. This would get me killed faster than you could say 'I'm just a fancy-eared street-smart guy'. These guys are out of my league. Yours, maybe if you have a dozen troll legbrakers to hire. Hell, the Masks would beat the living crap outta me if they knew I know whom they deal with. I like you, man, and your cred is good, and liquor even better, but c'mon. I don't have that kind of connections... That's why i ain't feeding the dead fish yet."

I assume we are texting not speaking. if we do I put him on hold.
Vabka, guys, you up to? I have some minor brash up to be done. Might win as a fave, that we could call upon later. Thinking ahead we might get into storming the BlackMan castle and we might need some distraction to be made that will allow us to do so. I have a bunch of Urban Brawl ultras fans, that could be used for something like that.

Vabka, by the way if you'll be dealing with Uncle about the safehouse, could you arrange a safe car as well, armored preferably?

That is how you levelup to the greater league chummer, and a way to stay there. I have some legbreakers. If you find out something, or find out somebody who knows something, gimme a call, we'll meet, this is not a thing you pass around with commlink. That could mean some serious cash for you. Think about it. Gotta go.

Yani, noticing Teatime is being ignored at the table, ...

Joe, I'm already outside.

With the business matters settled, I am heading the conversation onto lighter topics, like Evo, terrorists, weather, talismans finishes dinner with several balls of greentea flavoured ice and bids farawell.

Okay. I'll take a one-day break, and sort things out. I'm going for a movie night tomorrow, so I won't be available for a while.
I might post the three Safehouse propositions from Uncle tomorrow. But might not, depends on the amount of work I'll have.

It took a bit more, but I'll post a bigger one in the evening (it's just past noon here), along with the Safehouse choices.

#1 - Apartment: Located in the Wall District, this apartment is clean, well-built and equipped with a lot of appliances, some even bordering on luxury. The localization is convenient - it's close to most TriCity hubs. But it's also close to the Corporate Green Zone of Sopot, and there's a corporate block with a MCT retirement home nearby, and the security is lax, as the MCT guards sometimes skip their patrols and additional shifts. Even though they're paid to pull them in their free time by the wall district community.

-Necessities: High (4)

-Security: Low (2)
-Qualities: Nosy Neighbors (+2),

#2 - Ware-house: This place is owned by Uncle Good Advice himself, and he would be willing to let you crash there. If you need a car, and some tech support, you should consider this warehouse. Though it's not the best place to live, Martfa, the resident gearhead, is eager to help with any mods you want to make. Off course, they'd be paid out of your pocket, and you need to keep anything within her crazy-mojo standards, or get the hell out. The only problem is that the district is in bad shape - there is a significant gang presence there, and they're not of the nice kind. That, and the occasional Devil Rat infestation, and other pesky critters that seem to love this place for some reason.

#3 - The Lone House: It's a weird place all right. Uncle bought it a while ago, but he seems to be happy to pass it into your hands for a while. As far as he knows, it was owned by a magician, a hermetic of some kind, and he dissappeared a few months ago. He owed money to Uncle, so the fixer took over his property. Even though it's in one of the the most run-down neighborhoods, this place is in amazing shape. And the previous owner was a paranoid expert, since the security is crazy - from blast doors, to re-arranging the yard into a killzone. It doesn't have the best opinion though, even for a house on the edge of the Mad Hills, and most of the house is just bare walls, and military-style furnishings.

I say go for second ant third both. We will need a fortress to fall back if things go wrong. but there is no need to burn it as a first.
and we need a car.

You can pick one only. That's the deal. It doesn't stop you from renting the other ones when you have the money. For now, you don't.

P.S. Whoever is interested can take a Intuition+Perception (3) visual test.
