Computers 5 + Analyze 6 - Wound Modifier 2 = 9 dice, 9d6.hits(5) → [1,3,2,3,2,3,3,2,1] = 0 hits.

Lol guess my badluck charm is still active...

Oops! My bad. Forgot my extra 2 dice to matrix perception for being a technomancer: 2d6.hits(5) → [6,6] = 2 hits.
Woot! bad luck charm went away, finally.

Okay, let's keep tests and OOC content entirely in this thread. It would help keeping the story 'cleaner', and this way I can also focus on explaining stuff in game terms here.

@Yani: Firewall 5, no external access ID currently in the node, no connections from the outside active.
@Uncle Vabka: Someone fired a panther, or similar weapon here. And probably hit something, from the looks of it. But it is old news - two months probably.
@CW: The Elemental is a guardian. His Force is above your Magic, but not much. 1 to 3 points max(you'd notice if he'd been twice as powerful as you are). It's not taking actions, because it feels you're not intruders. Otherwise you'd be flat already, like your Watcher, that must've triggered some kind of protection against spying clause in the Elemental's duty description. And for the time being, this place has a Bacground Count, which you'd have to analyze and attune to, if it's possible.
@Bat'Oni: You see no curious kids, no observers... Not even one metahuman - or drone - in sight.
@Whisper: And it's eerily quiet in here. No birds either. There's an air of loneliness here, that can be felt, at least by you.

P.S. The 'key' is there. And it allows you to enter the house. As I stated in an IC post a while ago. Oh, and you can analyze the info you have by now further. All of you. It's just about proper use of your skills.

The description files had an one-use ID attached, that lets you access the house, and reset the security system, that can be turned on from the inside, and re-calibrated to treat you as owners, if you wear the proper ID tags...

1. I am looking into the files (logic + data search/browse - buying 2 hits, let me know if this is not enough and the roll is needed) looking specificaly for details on bypassing the house's magical protections.

2. Other then the fact, that the previous  owner was hermetic mage, that disaapeared, we know nothing. But since the spirit is still here he must have been bound (logic + magic theory - buying 2 hits for other possibilities, let me know if roll is needed). For all I know this is bound spirit or the previous owner turned into that spirit. On both cases he wouldn't call me master then.

3. Assuming he is bound spirit, there should be an astral link between the spirit and the mage. Can I follow it (Intuition + Assensing (5, 1 hour extended test) with buying hits I should have it under three hours. Maybe faster if I roll.

1. You find nothing. This place is a custom piece of security, so you'd have to use actual knowledge on the subject to get any data. In other words - there's a Threshold of 3.

2. You can roll, if you want to. I've already covered all the info you can get from buying hits in the IC thread. That's the way I'll handle minor tests from now on... Oh, and I've just noticed the IC thread - add 3 dice to your pool. His behavior gives you a few hints.

3. You saw no link. So either it's not Bound, or there is something else that keeps him here... You can roll for Assensing to take a more detailed look at the Spirit's aura.

It's a Spirit all right. An elemental... It has no master, no link, no nothing. But it still guards this place, and serves the purpose he was summoned for. As he was ordered... But you don't see anything that would indicate that this is a Free Spirit. And as for the last part of his line, if he'd take you for a threat, or intruder you'd be flat already.

P.S. Next time use  the xd6.hitsopen(5,6) formula for Edge-fueled rolls, and a basic 1d6 formula for the Bad Luck roll - it's not a threshold test.

You have a Security account privileges. That means you can access and manage the house security system, and most other functions, like adding users, providing access to a built-in Agent, and such. But you have no easy means of getting Admin for now - that would mean hacking it, and it wouldn't be wise to do that with the IC patrolling the node, and probably the person who does have Admin privileges appearing on every alert. You're just renting this place... And for you needs, a Security account is enough. If you want to, you can contact him, and negotiate admin access, but that's to do via Gchat.
