Redmond sounds nice. I will have to stick to small operations. Use the "on the take" angle from my first post maybe. Hopefully as a Shadowrunner Vexboy may be able to do more against stronger enemies... most likely not though.

In quick summary of the barrens of Seattle:

Redmond is north-east of Seattle proper.  In our world it is a pretty nice city, but in the SR timeline there was a reactor accident that made parts of the city varying degrees of radioactive, which drove away everyone who could leave, and given all the people that came into the plex after the breaking apart of the USA and Canada a lot of these newcomers ended up crowded into Redmond.  It is the classic high density, poisonous, barrens.  Historically a  lot of support for Humanis came from Redmond and there were a lot of sections that were pretty biased against meta-humans; that may have faded by 2075 but its roots and reputation are as more of a human slum.

Puyallup, to the south of Seattle proper, was more rural/edge city before everything started going to drek.  Parts of the place were covered by lava from Mount St. Helens, and more of it was buried under ash fall.  Even in 2075  much of the place gets periodic ash falls, and high levels of sulfuric acid released from the muttering volcano.  In the early years after things changed, a lot of people ended up in (the less poisoned parts of) Puyallup from sheer desperation/nowhere else to go.  In contrast to Redmond, Puyallup had higher levels of meta-human settlement.  The elven area at the south end has already been mentioned, and there is an old pit mine that is the basis of a large complex of orcish tunnels on its eastern edge.  Although Puyallup has some mostly empty areas, it has high density sections too.

Google shadowrun seattle map and you should find a few different maps of the metroplex that should give you some idea of what is where.  Bellevue is high class, everywhere else not mentioned is somewhat mixed, but each in its own way.  The Wiki should be your friend for getting a sense of the cities.

Both!  But I meant Vexboy (Nightshade is pretty emphatically a woman).

Forgot her gender. :P Thanks everyone. I will do some research and you will see a part 2 flashback where Vexboy met his sister.

Dire I cant find your sheet. Did I miss something?

http://forums.shadowruntabletop.com/index.php?topic=23160.msg429648#msg429648

It's in the Spoiler section of my second post in this thread. I'm still working on stuff. I'll repost when complete and upload to OP etc. Going to take me some time to work through those 40 points of contacts and get output so it's easy to review the build.

That extra batch of Contacts is of concern to me as well... Can't really think of others that make sense for the character to have.

You know there is no rule that you can't have the same contact as someone else. It actually makes things easier later on if we are to play together.
So if you want, feel free to copy some from me.

I found a couple that I'd like to work with you on.

Jessica Kyle: Emergency service provider
Con 4 / Loy 2

How would you feel about this one working with my character at the clinic he runs?

Sam Whats: Barkeeper
Con 3 / Loy 3

This is an easy one, the bar could be in Touristville and we could both go in there.

Adamu has already revealed his true colors quite frankly... If I were oppurtunistic and crazy I would buy the Firewing as a contact with the Friends in high places contact.

Also wish I knew for sure if that pool of Contact points was subject to the same limitations as normal ones (the limit sucked ass with one of mine who should be Loyalty 6, but that would put her costing 1 more karma than is allowed).

@RJ: Look at my qualities and Contacts.
