Nightshade
Physical description: Nigthshade is, by any standards, a very lovely young woman. Tall and leggy, she is gifted with the pale skin of a naturally fair complexion whose time outdoors is spent mostly in the ash-choked and cloudy streets of Tarislar and Loveland. Her hair is normally a dirty blonde, but Nightshade is vain and proud of her street handle, so it is usually dyed to the vivid purple of her namesake or else a bloody red and wears it to midback. Her eyes are a grey only a few shades off from white, the dead color of a weimareiner dog's and large, and they float in a face with a rosebud mouth, high cheekbones, and a delicate chin. It is a girl's face, a cute face, possessed of an impish quality that goes against her nature as a walking weapon, and the impression of silk instead of steel is not helped by her swanlike neck, slim shoulders and waspish waist. Her breasts and her derriere are not large, as such, but they are considerably more curvy than most elven women, a legacy of the cosmetic modifications forced on her as a puppet-hostess, and they are made to seem larger still by the sleekness of the rest of her form. Her hands are long fingered, her feet small and dainty, and she walks with the grace of a runway model or a dancer.
Normally she is garbed in motorcycle leathers or tight clothing under an armored jacket, electrochromic and armored against the elements. As with the rest of her garb and hair, she likes vivid colors, so when she is not working, they are blue or red or poison-purple. When she is working, however, all vanity gets set aside. The dye comes out of her hair, the polychromatic contacts out of her eyes. Her clothing goes to the slate grey of the omnipresent ash in Puyallup and she switches from vain, brash, loud go-ganger liaison and party girl to a dead-eyed wraith with dripping poisoned claws, half-lost against the concrete and ash of her home.*

*: I started with Lily Cole as the baseline model for Nightshade's look. How'd I do?
EDIT: Fifteen paragraphs in, and my computer just closes my window. Now I have to write it all again. God damn it.
