IF one was to do a location book involving Philadelphia, would you prefer it to just be about the city or about the whole Greater Philadelphia area (including Reading, Camden, etc. or as some refer to it as the Delaware Valley region)?

Note: Greater Philly equals Wilmington, Camden, Reading, Trenton, Atlantic City, Vineland, Hammonton, Philly and Dover.

Philly by itself is about seven or eight distinct regions (each consisting of no fewer than six true neighborhoods).

Have at, chummers.

All the way down to Delaware, baby! Give Wilmington some love :D

Now I want to know what the Amish and Mennonites are up to in 2076. I vote for a blend of radicalization ala Banshee (the TV series).

I've got a big leg up on this one, due to my home campaign. "Big Brotherly" has a whole lot going for it as a 'runner location.

Having been born in North Jersey, Philly is NJ's wipe towel...

and they're welcome to the Eagles loving South Jersey.

But in all seriousness, it would make a good location splat book...

It should probably be a twin cities book, Philly on one side of the river and Camden on the other.

Camden boys really threw me a curveball. Officially, the Mafia count Philly as a Major City, but a big source of income is normally gambling, which is illegal in Philly but a-ok in Camden.

So teh idea of 'Camden Boys' being code for Mafiosa, but Philly being the HOME of Mafia, it just messes with me. I'm fairly certain that it'd make sense if I lived there, buuut...

Camden violent crime rate has been over 5 times the national average for the last two decades... I
more than 40% of the population is under the poverty line...not the 140% adjusted poverty line, the 1972 poverty line. You drive thru it to get to the Twitter Center to see a concert and you go from America, to third world country, back to America...I kid you not.

If that's how it is now, imagine whatit will be like in 2075.

Actually if you go off what was presented in Striper Assassin, Camden is ran by the Yaks, not the Mob...
