...money was not so much the issue, (still have some starting resources to spend to get it down to under 5,000),
I tend to prefer Bio and geneware to chrome not just because of the lower essence drain, but that it is harder to detect than cyber (there have been times we have dealt with going through MAD/Cyber scanners). The original character had Wired Reflexes 1 but the Essence hit was pretty hard (2 + the other augmentations she had). Furthermore, for upgrading (which I plan to do) Wired Reflexes to rating 2 it is more expensive than upgrading Synaptic Booster (110,000 vs 95,000) and reduces Essence by another full 1 rating point. On the other hand rating 2 Synaptic Boosters only takes a total of 1 Essence.
As to her Social Limit, in the older version I actually hit her limit on a couple of occasions during Negotiation and Con tests. In one case on a Con test, it resulted in a very "interesting" outcome to a fairly tricky job. Since she has an Edge of only 1 to start, that will be reserved for the all important "hopefully I don't die" test so she won't be throwing it into pre edging anytime soon (the downside of being a meta other than human).
Regarding contacts, she has no vehicle skill so that is the reason for the taxi driver. Reporters are always helpful sources for doing legwork. As to the Chicago Contacts, there are two that would work. Goober would be a good choice (my character Leela has him) as he can get most gear as well is a source of information and rumours on the streets. Martin Tate would be good source of medical/forensic info and of course for those all important upgrades to Augmentations and getting jobs.
So, adjusting her contacts she would have:
Curley: (Taxi Driver). Connection 2 Loyalty 3
Dr Tate ("Dr J") Connection 5 Loyalty 2
Goober (Armourer) Connection 4, Loyalty 3
Gyro Jim (Trid Reporter) Connection 4 Loyalty 3
I checked with my group and yes the Synergist Longcoat does stack with Sleeping Tiger (since it is made by the same manufacturer and has the "custom fit stack" quality) however I am aware that it does negate the Ruthenium Polymer effect while worn.
I could see reducing Logic (though I already have one "dim bulb" character in my Adept Kyoto Kid), however Willpower comes in to play with Judge Intentions and Composure, which are two attribute tests that I feel are important to a Face as well as opposed social tests. I would see a Face character as being just a bit more "unshakeable" than the average person. That would increase her Reaction to 4 (making it 10 with her Synaptic Booster). 3 Dice on any pool increases the chance of a critical glitch, and since Willpower is about the only way to resist mana spells, that could be really bad.
Her Strength attribute was raised with Starting Karma to 2, so there would be no way I could shuffle a point from there (might have forgot to note that above). Even if I could, with only a 1 Strength, she could not even wear a ballistic mask with her Sleeping Tiger. without incurring a -1 penalty to all Agility based tests.
Also added another level to her Bone Density augmentation (giving her 5 + Armour for soak rolls).
Adjustments made to the post above.
