Omar: Well more combat oriented mojo character would be more than welcome...I have to work with bunch of pacifists.
Sam: "One Omar in the team is enough. But combat skills would definatly be welcome.  Just no crazy killer duds."

Omar: I dont know what Sam is referring to. I only believe in "Using intuitively choosen moment of brutal and vlolent intervention to support peacefull negotiations"...worked well for us so far.

Looks good. There will be some trouble with licenses - since in most sectors your weapons are prohibited and/or restricted to security companies. Fake licenses allowing you to carry them usually get double checks. Gotta go now, we can clear it later, but consider yourself in for the next run.

OzGeek - make a runner, will see on the next run.

Have two Rating 4 Licenses for the Monof. Sword and for the Ares IV. He won't take the Vibro Blade Sword in those controlled areas, it's more like a replacement sword under his bed.

Your idea of having Vibroblade is really funny, when I take your Gremlins quality into consideration...

Hm, correct.

Maybe I should switch it with some old-fashion knives and the Ares IV with a revolver, no shinny smartlink-stuff, just basic gun-powder, point-n-click. I will look into it.

Do I also need licenses for all the fetishes and foci? Without the Vibro Blade I have some money left to buy those.

Let me describe how I see the situation in Denver.

First. This city is consisting of sectors. While the SIN (fake or not) is valid in all the sectors. Each of the sectors has their own licenses set. That's because they each have different norms. If you have a license for a gun or fake SIN valid in Pueblo, it might well be, that the same gun isn't legal in other sector.

As a rule of thumb, anything bigger than a light pistol is illegal, and having a license for it only rises the brow, as only police forces are allowed to use it.
There is ONE runner that is allowed to carry guns/armors in the team - that's because he paid 15 thousands nuyen for R5 Zone Defence Forces officer SIN. Unless you're prepared for such costs, I'd suggest you do what all others are doing - keeping the illegal things hidden and talking through the border checks and using basic citizen SIN.

that's an example from Sioux sector, i've cut the piece about prices difference as I've dropped it

I've decided to fill you up with more data about denver (most of this is coming from denver sourcebook)

<...>

and since you come to Ess Ess (Sioux Sector) you might want to know, that all kind of explosives (including explosives rounds) is restricted to law enforement and corporate security forces. The same goes for: silencers, smartlinks, armor heaveir then armored clothing. Oh and if you choose to be Sioux FakeSin citizen keep in mind that the only cyber that can be installed must be Sioux manufactured. The word goes, to avoid anythign head-related. Sioux engineers aren't particulary good at cybertechnology

standard weaponry above pistols need to be licensed, automatics and up are restricted. Though I don't think any of you would apply becuase they'd require a SIN for that and it will be verified with more scrutiny then at the checkpoint, and because they're routinely rejected. a fake licenses for holdouts and light pistols work though. You can also have hunting weapon including rifles, but they need to be licensed as well and can be transported only between home and registered hunting areas.

just to give you some measures transporting crossbow or manhunter will cost you a fine of 3000 NY and 2250 NY if caught on border checkpoint or during routine check on street plus confiscation of course.

price of any kind of magical good 2 to 3 times Seattle prices due to hefty tax

I've posted also some piece on Pueblo, never really got into detailing other sectors

<...> more detail on this side of the fence for you.
armor - light armor is legal, anything heavier is not, not even corps security can use it. Only Pueblo Security Enterprise
explosives are licensed - however trying to get one might prove even more risky - you'll need to pass your SIN against rating 8 scanner - Pueblo has the best software, databases
silencers, smartlinks is restricted
recoil compensation is licensed along with hunting rifles

standard weaponry above light pistols are restricted, with the exception of hunting rifles (you can apply for this kind with single shot rifles and shotguns). projectiles are treated like hunting weapons. Up to this level and hunting weapons are licensed.  Any kind of automatic weapons is of course forbidden.

to compare the measures transporting unlicensed crossbow or transporting manhunter will cost you a fine of 1000 NY and 2250 NY if caught on border checkpoint or during routine check on street plus confiscation of course.

price of any kind of magical good is at 1.3 - 1.5 multiplier to Seattle prices.

magical licenses are cheaper than in Sioux (100 NY instead of 200 - no special tax) and blade license are same. However as I said scanner ratings are higher.

the standard scanners used by Pueblo to check SINs/licenses is rating 3 + TR, compared to 2 + TR in other sectors. if anything go suspicious you might be requested to go through  MAD scanner rating 4 checks  in any of those.

There is no need to buy licenses for foci/fetishes. Just a license for magical activity. (that's just a hidden way to register all awakened metahumans. It's necessary for crossing the borders, in case there is some kind of astral perceiving guard.
