Sian laughs. "From what you have seen of this place, would you like to take companions from the populace? No, the hounds are loyal and dedicated to me. They do not ask for more than they need and require little in return except for my own loyalty and dedication to them. But you are an outsider to this area and new. Are you offering companionship? The experience might be interesting for both of us."
Sian walks you to the door and outside, where the hounds perk up from where they have been impersonating furry trash piles. They fall in to either side of her as she heads off into the street. Again, you notice that everyone seems to give the Hell Hounds a wide berth as they walk on the street, with almost everyone either making some sort of sign with their fingers, bowing low, or both. She points out some of the interesting shops on the streets and tells you about some of the interesting people in the neighborhood. She seems to be very knowledgeable for a teenager, but then you reason she would need to be if she is to survive here. Her walk leads you to a narrow alley and the hounds split up to have one in the vanguard and the other trailing you. Sian carefully points the specific turns to take as she guides you through the labyrinth of passages. Suddenly the lead hound stops and flattens against the wall, allowing Sian to pass it. She goes several feet more then stops, pointing. "Straight on then a right turn will bring you to the main road. Your drone might be able to make a map for you if you ever want to return." She reaches into a pocket and withdraws something. Holding it in her hands, she breathes out a fine green mist that settles on the item and sparkles momentarily before fading, illuminating a small toy soldier. She smiles at you and hands the toy over. "If you do decide to return, show this to the first person you see in the street and you will be safe, or as safe as anyone can be in the Barrens."
She steps sideways to allow you to pass.
