Cybersingularity Seeker doesn't really fit someone who had forcibly implanted 'ware.  Plus, he would need four full limb replacements to get that +2 bonus.

Just responding to the general topic and subject line.

Oh, absolutely, Reaver. I myself pointed that out in the post above that that was my interpretation and not one that's shared by everyone.

Yeah, the Magic to 0 and up to 1 or 2 with Karma isn't particularly cheesy on most characters.  Magic 1 or 2 isn't particularly useful, and you're giving up a couple points of edge for the Priority, passing up on at least one Essence worth of Augments, as well as throwing a few Karma at it.  And its usually more fluff than useful.

I'm sure there are some niche exploits that can be done, but the net result is usually a lot of resources for a mechanically so-so character hook.

I think about the most abusive thing you could do would be stacking the Way of the Burn Out and Biocompatibility you can to get around 8 essence worth of 'ware and a random Physical Adept power or Magic group at a low dice pool.  Uh... Kamikaze fueled Cybor deth machine with Detox ftw I guess?  'bout the most potentially abusive thing I can come up with.  YMMV.

Going that route you would need the Redliner PQ (correct name I think) from Chromed Flesh to help with your none existent physical limit, unless English version finally gets an official response on total limb (and I would say torso) replacement.

Hobbs's psycho chromed idea might actually be broken.

Agreed. This looks like a 'training wheels' edition, that you can use to introduce someone to the setting, and then shift over to something like 5E or 4E. Like how D&D 5E is best used as training wheels for D&D 3.X.

Turned in Toxshaman for ¥1 million/4 once.

The opportunity has come for me to play this character, I'm going to see if its a sound concept.
I paint the pavement.  It's what I do.  Check it out on Instagram, @Chalkarts

Using a weapon you use the weapon accuracy instead of limit, so you can take advantage of your hits. For non-combat, even with dumped strength, the character could have physical limit 4 or 5 (higher even if a heartier metatype). That's usually enough for most things. Some drugs can help too.

450K can get you quite a bit of Cyber for your Mage Burnout.

Wired-2A + ReaEnh-3U  (or skip this & bond a Health Focus-4)
Full CyberArm-U
CyberEyes-2A
Skillwires
That is a solid start in chewing through your Essence.

25 Karma to Spend Minimum
Mentor Spirit (5)
Magic-2 (15)
Spells (5-30)
SINner (-5)
Weak Immune System (-10)

18 Points = (Firearm)-6, Spellcasting-6, Counterspelling-6
