Hey everyone! I am starting a new group, and I am thinking about running Splintered States for them.
Thing is I am not sure what to do after this module. I thought maybe running the season 5 missions. But after reading some of them I cant seem to find any overarching story there, and I want things to be a bit more personal.
Any good campaign that you can recommend me? Maybe the Lockdown? I am looking for something that will be a good follow up to Splintered States.

Also, in Splintered States the group gets a drek-tone of money.. and as a new group they might think that 100k is some standard payment..

Any advice would be great, aspecially ppl who ren Splintered States and continued on with other modules.

Hi - yeah, Splintered State has one heck of a payday! But not as much as a live toxic mage...

If you're looking to keep a personal feel for the runners, I would write your own, around one of the runners' backgrounds/ negative qualities. Maybe their mum has been framed for a murder, or that corporate SIN quality still has strings attached. Having runner backgrounds to hit off can make adventures alot easier to write. Also, if they've just finished 'State, they will have inadvertantly made themselves some friends and enemies - the ork underground, the mayor, major corporations...

The issue with the published campaigns is the dates are next year, although you could fudge the dates if you wish:

Splintered State: Spring 75
Lockdown: Early to Mid 76
Battle of Manhatten (adventure): Late 76
Bloody Business: Late 76 to Early 77

Also, Lockdown will likely require some fleshing out. Sprawl Wilds is a good book of drop-ins if you want to keep your team busy while you write something.

Good luck! Always great to here of new shadowrun groups :)

Firing Line is another set of drop-in scenarios that you could use to fill in the time between.  Both Firing Line and Sprawl Wilds are scenarios run as part of Missions Conventions campaigns that eventually were published for regular use.

I've used several of them as a quick filler run and expanded others for more depth.

Boundless Mercy is another set of modules though these are linked together and are intended to be run over a short period of time though it is easy enough to expand the time between runs.
