Probably never would be, he was still troubled that a young woman smiling at a chewed up piece of meat like himself, would trigger feelings of doubt, suspicion and paranoia. Still self reproaching, he watched the organism move and flow around him, as if he was a bacteria in an otherwise healthy bio-system. That analogy held true as the crowd parted to allow him to pass, to complete his patrol of the boardwalk circuit, familiarizing himself with the area prior to the meet.
