I haven't rp'd the Pixel character in 16 years at least so it gives me a chance to get back into her char though...she does respond poorly to pushy types what with her sense of entitlement and all 

Chaim would be disappointed if she didn't. 

I won't be able to get an IC in today, Chaim will dutifully get some soykaf for the group, and prepare to make a move wherever.  He won't object to going to Pixel's, if she offers.

I'm not sure if we want to hour-by-hour this, or abstract some of the legwork.  OOCly, the best bet is to hit the legwork hard for the next three days or so, so we can regain as much Edge as possible before the extraction, but tonight there isn't much that Chaim can do.  He's not going to walk into the place without an idea of who he could reasonably be and what he'd be looking for, so tonight he doesn't have much to offer until information starts flowing in.  Tapping contacts even seems ill-advised until we start developing a rudimentary plan.

Tecumsah, overall, the same appearances as from the further vantage point, the guards don't seem to have much cyber, and none patrolling are awakened, still seems pretty ordinary rent -a-cop types here. There is a guard booth at the entrance to the parking lot with an aging overweight guard. You can tell the building is ten stories tall, but the windows are opaque from this distance, so can't see anything more than the outside.

As a research hospital, there are all kinds of studies going on, they can range from sleep studies to apparently, HMHVV. As such, disguise as a patron or observer could work, so could a college student, or doctor in residence.

IC post is up so that Ichante can ICly report some of the astral findings and begin discussions of next steps.

As for where to meet and conduct business, Ichante is flexible as long as it is warm and dry inside.

As a head's up, I will be on vacation from Thursday through the end of the month. I will have a computer with me and should have regular internet access with the exception of Thursday, which will largely be a travel day. I should be able to maintain our established posting frequency, maybe even find some time to type out some of Ichante's background that has been floating around in my head for a month now.

Alrighty now that Ichante is back from astral scouting, let's get those shopping lists compiled. I'll put together the next movement post to get the team all to a safer place and post IC once I've got everyone's lists. Then you can plan and scout and such from there.

As per Eddie's suggestion, Chaim will reach out to Suzette Orman, his Connection 5 fixer, to see if she has any leads on a Safehouse in Newhaven they may be able to rent for the week.

Unless there's an IC reason for getting the lists submitted sooner than later, I'd like a couple extra days to figure out our strategy before submitting requisition lists. That way we can make intelligent selections, like business suits (if we're posing as corpers) or uniforms (if we're posing as maintenance men).

Granted, since it's our money we're spending, Ichante will want something that has value after the run, rather than overalls for some maintenance crew that may or may not ever get used again.

I'm hoping Pixel and Pale Horse can chime in soon.

GM decision: if Ichante needs a suit, how much time is needed for the Custom Fit option? I imagine same-day or next day (because corpers are demanding slots with little patience for delayed gratification) but I'll leave it up to the GM in case Vashon Island has artificially inflated their tailoring times to give the impression of Old World care and attention to detail.

No real IC reason, unless you guys want to leave the comm behind, or not get Asher's contact info from it. I'm perfectly fine with getting a plan together and deciding what to buy based on the plan. As for suit, even with custom fit, it won't take more than a day, even if they are going for the old world feel, this is a direct requisition from a corper, which will warrant a rush on production etc.

Ok, so connecting with fixer, looking for safe house in/around Newhaven, with matrix access (of course). I'll get post together and update hopefully tonight, possibly tomorrow if I get swamped.

Also, CraterShip, I think you mistook Eddie and Chaim as looking for a safehouse; Eddie does have a fixer but it was Chaim who called his contact to look for one IC.

Thanks I try to make things as descriptive as possible, especially over PbP because there really isn't a good way to show you or describe in detail otherwise.

Thanks for hitting up pixelated, hopefully we'll hear back shortly, otherwise, we may need to look for another matrix person. I can npc our way through some rolls to get a baseline on the building, or could go the old fashioned way and look in city archives for paper copies of blueprints and such.

If we don't hear by Wednesday, I'll hit up the LFG threads and see what comes up.
