Did we ever get the personnel file on Dr. Nelson?  My IC post is assuming so.

@Tec, what's Ichante's name on her fake SIN?  I swear you've said, but I can't find it, and the Search function is letting me down.

So, Chaim is putting the ball in the tour guide's court, but is doing so in such a way that to move along with the tour is to insult him, or at the very least his standing.  Not sure if Con or Negotiation is the better roll here.  I'll roll Negotiation, with a separate roll for the 2 extra dice that Con would add.  I have: CHA (6) + Negotiation (4) + Bargaining (2) + Tailored Pheromones (2) + NPC's Attitude is Friendly (2) - Result is Annoying to NPC (1) = 15 dice.
Negotiation: 15d6t5 6
Forgot 1 die for Chaim's suit: Berwick Suit: 1d6t5 0
Nope.
And the two dice in case Con works: Con: 2d6t5 0
Ok, so 6 hits

@CraterShip, how do you want to handle the checks on security, floor plans, etc?  Do you want straight Perception tests, a Sneaking test based on INT instead of AGI, something different?

@rednblack Hmm, you know, I'm not sure I ever did give a name for the fake SIN. Ichante did say that her fake complemented Chaim's fake, but she meant that more along the lines of "they are both UCAS National (fake) SINs".

Let's go with "Winona Lúta". I'll update my sheet.

@CraterShip Ichante will be keeping her eyes and open during the tour, checking out security and anything else that might catch her attention. She will also be peeking about in the astral as she tours the facilities. She'll take advantage of the dark conference room to have a seat and astrally project to scope out on-site astral security from the inside out, presuming that nothing else up to that point suggested that this would be a bad idea.

Base Perception roll: Intuition 4 (8) + Perception 3 + Perceptive 1: 12d6t5 5 hits, good
+ Visual modifiers: Visual specialization 2 + Vision Enhancement 3: 5d6t5 2 hits, for 7 hits total for visual, limit is 9 with wireless on
+ Audio modifiers: Audio Enhancement 2: 2d6t5 0 hits, so 5 hits for audio

Assensing: Intuition 4 (8) + Assensing 6 + Aura Reading 2 + Perceptive 1: 17d6t5 7 hits. Yay, she's good at something! I am unsure of whether the Mental limit (6) or the Astral limit (7) applies here. Either way, it looks like Ichante is on her game and is performing well. The smart-loking suit must be boosting her confidence.

I'll go with straight perception, augmented by any appropriate knowledge skills.

As for Ichante's perception and astral fun:
Security looks pretty tight, armed guards posted at the elevator and neat the lab doors. They are armed with pistols, tasers, and shock batons. Judging from their uniforms bulk, they are wearing armor vests under their button down shirts. Cameras watch the hallways and general work areas, you don't see the interiors of offices to check those. The guards do not seem to be mobile, more sentry like than roving guards. Maglock keys with proximity cards and keypads are on the doors to the offices, while voice ID is used on the research floor to enter the clean room.
From the astral side, a few of the items in the clean room stand out with an aura, but not in any attention grabbing way. You do note that the heart mentioned does not have any residual aura, indicating that it really was vat grown. You can't say the same about all the samples though. Feeling over the scientists seems guarded, a bit nervous, don't annoyed probably from the interruptions of another tour.
Dr Nelson seems to be hiding something, but from whom you can't tell. He does exhibit done relief as he hands off the data chip. Astral security seems almost non existent aside from impenetrable astral foliage growing in the walls. It keeps you confined to the conference room and a few non significant surrounding rooms. You'll have to physically make your way around it would seem.

Unfortunately, Chaim doesn't seem to have any Knowledge skills that will help in this situation.  I'm going to roll LOG (3) + Hardware (2) to see if Chaim recognizes any of the maglocks as far as their rating goes.  That's 5 dice total, so it doesn't look good.
Maglocks?: 5d6t5 0
Ya know what, we should still be a couple of days out, so I'm going to spend Edge by adding my Edge pool (5) with exploding sixes.  Should've just done that to begin with.
Edge Attribute: 5d6h5 1
Still probably not enough to get a rating.

For Perception, Chaim is going to be trying to remember the details of the security guard's outfits, and get a bead on our tour guide's voice.  That probably won't get us into any super-sensitive areas, but it should get us in the lab proper, assuming we'll be heading there.  I have: INT (4) + Perception (5) + Specifically Looking/Listening (3) = 12 dice.
Perception + Specifically Looking: 12d6t5 5
Not bad.  Adding in Visual Spec and Vision Enhancement: 1 for the looksie side of things.
Visual Spec + Vision Enhancement: 1: 3d6t5 2
Chaim's Mental Limit is 5, so he hits that on getting a bead on the tour guide's voice -- and also what she's saying when she punches us through -- and 6 hits on the visual side of things, due to increased Limit from the Contacts.

@CraterShip, how do you handle toxins with multiple vectors?  I'm wondering is gas masks will protect us from the worst that Neuro-Stun X has to offer, or if we'd need a complete Chemical Seal.

@All, anything else we should do before getting out of here?

Let's see, first up, the locks appear to be maglocks... That's about all you get there. Either they are in a different package than you've seen in the past, or you just aren't sure what to look for as far as strength etc.

You do get a good reading on her voice, although it may be difficult to reproduce such a feminine voice for Chaim. She simply says Newhaven in order for the door to open to the lab. You are pretty confident your be able to recall all the uniform details of the security guards of required.

As to the specific question of multiple vectors, it will depend on the chemical and the delivery method. If it's an aerosol with airborne vector, then a mask would be enough, if it's worked into a gel or foam and is acidic or corrosive, then a full story would be needed. If it is both, err on the side of caution, as it may have the same effects whether you breath it or just fine into contact with it.

Okay so....pixel is still kind of freaked out by the cages of body parts. She has it in her mind that this place is grabbing visitors and putting them on the chop block as "donors like you" so thats why shes checking past visitors against mussing persons. Shes also going to have a gooood listen in on whatever the guide says when she gets there. Im still away and cant make my own rolls though...

Chaim regularly goes disguised as a woman, and has rather high Disguise and Impersonation skills, so hopefully recreating the woman's voice won't be too much of a challenge.

ICly Chaim is going to ask Pixel to add Enrique Casada to the list of Silver donors on Newhaven's benefactor list.  OOCly, I'm not sure how difficult that will be, so she can agree or decline as she sees fit.

I'm sure for this last bit an Etiquette test is in order.  I'll roll the Corporate Spec separately as it makes sense for the tax bit of his speech, but not so much the flirty bits.  I have: CHA (6) + Etiquette (5) = 11 dice.
Etiquette: 11d6t5 6
Forgot the damn suit again, and the Tailored Pheromones.  That's 3 extra dice.
Suit + Tailored Pheromones: 3d6t5 2
And the spec.
Corporate Spec: 2d6t5 1
Dice gods are smiling on me today.    Social Limit is 10 with the suit on, I think, so Chaim can keep his 8 hits on the general test, and 9 hits on the corporate spec part.

Definitely passed any check for etiquette with that many hits, also, did you just ask her out? Haha.

It would be pretty easy for Pixel to add the name to the list, but the money will be the hard part. As with most organizations, the money is the most tracked, and most difficult to fake. So unless you are truly wanting to donate a large sum of nuyen to Newhaven your best bet would probably be to wait.

ICly, I'd say the scouting missions are about to an end, unless there are some specific requests to search for while you're still in the building.

ok so horse run does what she does best and plays the blank faced indian woman. looking a 18 d6 for a lousy three hits perception for recce: 18d6 60 not the best but I know where the fire exit is. looking to pay sepecial attendtion to the dimentions of rooms and looking at the carpets floor for wear and tear that leads in to a blank wall.

Don't worry about using your edge on this one, while it was a good idea, there aren't any hidden passage rooms or anything like that. It is just a standard office building on most floors, and the lab floors don't have carpet at all, just plastic quick clean tiles. Good for keeping things sterile, bad for holding footprints.

How do you interpret the rules for maglocks, by the way? Can a lock needing a voice input be bypassed manually like keypads and card readers, or would we need an actual copy of the voice?

As for where we go from here, I honestly have no idea. The first step would probably be to review the data Dr. Nelson gave us, and try to come up with a plan from there. Eddie definitely wants to know more about what's going on in the basement, but I suspect that might be tricky unless we can get a drone or something in there. Would it be possible to Astrally Project into the basement, assuming it isn't completely warded, I mean?
