just to let you know I've not been getting notifications when we post. I will start checking when I get to and from work (and lunchtimes if the gods are kind) remember i'm in the UK so i'm 5 hrs in front (or 19 hr behind depending on your perspective)

right now as a general rule Cas has point. so I will sweep counter to his arcs and he moves and keep checking "six"

one problem we will have will be that one uniform is full of electric burnt holes which is a bit of a give away and the other is on a lime stone statue which I doubt we can remove in any kind of hurry.

so my vote I to get in there and do the job real quick, this is a raid time is always pressing

The hallway and elevator don't really show anything out of the ordinary, regular reinforced cement walls, standard freight style elevator. The vault like door is as described, metal, solid, looks extremely heavy and solidly reinforced, as stated before, 9 levers surround the circular door. No labels, no windows, pretty barren.

Ichante will try to repeat her astral-peeking through the vault door. She's at -2 for sustaining Petrify.

Intuition 4 (8) + Assensing 6 + Aura Reading 2 - Sustaining 2: 14d6t5 6 hits, should be enough to get a good read on what's behind the vault, if she can see anything

And Ichante's attempt at studying the levers:

Intuition 4 (8) + Perception 3 + Visual 2 + Vision Enhancement 3 - Sustaining 2: 13d6t5 3 hits

If there's nothing to be gained from studying the levers, then we'll have to take another approach. Since they're mechanical, I'm guessing they can't be hacked. Spikes could potentially hack the man's commlink to look for clues. If that doesn't work, we might want to unpetrify the guard and ask him some pointed questions about how the locking mechanism works. Chaim has a bit of skill with that, plus we can probably cobble together some bonuses. We can waterboard the guy in the sewer or, as previously mentioned, threaten to feed him to the half-ghoul.

If Casket isn't strong enough to move the petrified man, Ichante can use Levitate.

Once we figure out the way in, and maybe get a clue as to what's behind the door, then we can decide if Chaim's plan is still suitable. Sounds like a good first draft though.

The levers are the obvious point of access through the door, and astral senses are blocked entirely, like a solid wall embedded in the door itself. Some kind of magic is definitely going on inside the door. As you puzzle over the levers, it seems to obvious that you'd just pull them all, your intuition tells you it's probably some specific sequence of numbers. If you treat it like the click it looks like, then sits that make the top point the 1 or the 9?

If I remember correctly, there is a test to roll for memory right? Sorry, I'm in the process of moving and all my stuff is packed up right now. Chaim, Ichante, and Pale Horse, roll memory (assuming it's still a thing).

As for Casket, his studies sadly, still don't yield much about this kind of vault door. Need the combination to get through somehow.

Yes, there is a LOG+WIL memory test. Ichante is bad at one and good at the other. Let's see how that balances out:

After thinking for a minute, Ichante will remember Dr Nelson giving them a four digit number he had to drug a guard for. She thinks it was 2486, Pale Horse thinks it was 4268, and Chaim recalls something about a for digit number, but can't remember what it was.

As for pat down, each has a micro tranceiver, an armor jacket complete with babe badge and logo, each has an area alpha with 2 full clips of regular ammo and one clip of APDS each. Both rifles have had their grenade launchers removed. One has a key fob to what looks like a car, and the other a key to a vehicle of some kind, looks like personal transportation for each.
