With Spikes on the terminal, the next order of business is securing our perimeter.  We need one set of eyes on the elevator -- Spirit or flesh -- and we should probably breach the separate room to neutralize Manfred and the lead scientist.  With Spikes otherwise occupied, getting through the maglock will fall to Casket.  I'll roll another Leadership test to assist, also with 14 dice.

I think the best plan would be for Casket and Pale Horse to breach, keep Ichante back but within LoS for any casting, should it be needed, and Chaim will keep his eyes on the elevator.

I'll roll Perception.  Chaim has: INT (4) + Perception (5) + Visual Spec (2) + Specifically Looking (3) = 14 dice.

Ichante's To Do list:

1) Drop the Physical Mask on Chaim. That will bring her sustaining penalty down to -2.

2) Presuming there's enough time to do so before the gas dissipates, Ichante will want to bring in the petrified guard, drop her spell, and have him catch a quick whiff of gas. Hopefully that will knock him out so that he can be secured without having the second sustaining penalty. This will require a bit of backup from someone (Grandpa, Chaim, or Pale Horse) in case the man has an internal air tank or something that makes him immune to the gas.

Step one is to get the man-statue into the room with the gas. I'm guessing he's too heavy to be moved easily, so Ichante will use Levitate. 1-2 hits should be enough.
Spellcasting: Levitate @ F4: Magic 6 + Spellcasting 6 - Sustaining 2: 10d6t5 3 hits, that'll do
Soaking 2S drain: Willpower 7 + Intuition 8: 15d6t5 4 hits, drain soaked

Step two is to drop the spell and let the man get a whiff of Eau de Neuro-Stun. If, as hoped, he gags and passes out, Ichante will want to secure his hands and wrists in case he wakes up. Once that's done, she'll be at 0 for sustaining penalties.

If there's not enough time to move the guard before the gas dissipates, she'll use him for #3 below.

3) Ichante is worried about their escape route being cut off. She'll be interested in wedging things under the doors (the cell door next to the elevator and the door to the sewer) to prevent them from slamming shut. I'm hoping there's a wedge or something handy that will prop the doors open. If not, then at least something durable that would stop them from being closed all the way. She'll use the guard with the cyberarms (petrified or unpetrified), if need be.

Outside of that, she'll follow Chaim's orders. Her guardian spirit can be used to either keep an eye on the elevator and/or breach the separate room.

Walls are reinforced concrete, doors are steel, the windows are small, just enough to see through a slit, like into a prison cell, and fogged so you can see dark spots/movement, but no details. Can't tell how thick, but likely bullet proof

Alright, let's put Achak on the elevators, Pale Horse on the guard, and Casket on the door to the scientists.  Chaim Directs and helps with moving the guard, if appropriate.

We need the samples, which should be small and easily transportable, and the files.  Spikes is on the files, but my guess is every second the scientists have solo in that office is a second closer to the samples being destroyed.  If we can avoid it, I say we leave the other rooms bolted until we've exhausted that option.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if corpsec gets any word that we've "won" or are about to abscond will all that sweet paydata, they may pop the doors themselves just to keep things contained.  They probably want to keep their scientists, especially the lead, but if they have to make a choice between Manfred or being first, my guess is it's no choice.

We have 10 minutes of gas in that room, potentially longer since we're in the basement.  That should create a nice barrier, but I agree with Tec that keeping access to our way out is key.  Let's get Pale Horse on that as well after moving the guard.

Dice rolls for Spikes are good, just taking then into account for the next post. Overall, no data bomb, yes encrypted, but you crack through it with 5 successes, edit time was base ten minutes to get the data, with your successes, I cut it down to three minutes, but you'll be pretty occupied during that time anyway, keeping the data together long enough to copy the quickly deleting files. Matrix perception shows you where the file is and the disintegrating pieces are going, you gain a mark with hack on the fly, and are copying for the next couple minutes.

As you work to keep it together, however, your perception also spots IC on the way. Seems you've been detected.

The IC got quite possibly the worst Init roll I've ever seen 19 Looks like you act first!
