Feather agrees and signs off.  Steve looks at you from across the room.  "You looked out of it for a minute.  Everything OK or something else come up?"

Just talking with Feather.  He confirms KE involvement.  He has some evidence maybe but it's encrypted.  Looks like we will have some intel for the meet after all.

"Good news.  What time is that meeting?"

Sasha didn't say, he's just trying to set up the meet I guess we just wait for him to call after he talks to this Vlad guy.

Steve makes sure that Tabitha has gone back into the room where her father is recuperating before coming over to talk to you softly.  "Do you think those guys will make another try for the Doc and her father?  It would seem odd to me if they do not.  Are you sure that the four of us are enough here?"

I don't know.  I suppose it's possible but they have been trying to get the guy and the woman from Washington Rec and Mercy because they have something they want.  Doc might be able to ID one is all and that damage is already done so, they might not have any reason to come for the doc at all anymore.  But loose ends are loose ends.

I also don't think the Vory would sit still while they attempted to liquidate one of their assets.  So we are probably in a fairly safe place over all.

Steve nods and shudders a bit.  "Not really too sure I like being in bed with the Vory, Spokane.  Their reputation is pretty...............well, bad.  Still, I trust your judgement on this.  It all seems quite unreal to me, almost like watching myself in some trivid.  I just hope that the heroes make it through alive and that the girl gets the guy in the end."

The Vory are good people as long as you aren't costing them money.  I've got pretty deep ties here and they know I'm an asset, as is the good doctor.  Their reputation is deserved though.  They are brutal and extremely effective, which makes for great allies and terrible enemies.

Yeah sometimes these things can turn into bad trid,  I don't think we qualify as heroes, but that just means we will have to fight that much harder for our happy ending, darlin'.  Spokane reaches over and squeezes her hand.

As you squeeze her hand, she raises it to her lips and kisses it before dropping it and moving back to her guard position.  During your watch, food will be brought to you and all of you can eat.  You get a message from Sasha at about midnight.  >>Hey, Spokane.  Vlad is willing to see you.  Neutral ground for first look.  Gino's Grill in Touristville for lunch tomorrow.  Do I tell him yes or no?<<

Sasha agrees and sends a confirmation message.  Steve is looking at you with an unspoken question on her lips.

Meet is set.  Tomorrow at noon.  Gino's in Touristville.  Don't know how much closer we will be to ending this but at least we will probably have some new allies and intel.
