The survivors from Washington Rec and Mercy General.  I assume they are your guests.  You aren't holding them prisoner are you, or perhaps they've moved on? 

I'm sorry, was that supposed to be a secret?  Honestly I suspected one of them to be here.  I was going to speak with the doctor that was there too before I got involved in all this to see if I could get a payday out of providing him security until this all blew over.  Turns out my doctor called instead.  These guys are causing way too much collateral damage and they need to be stopped.

The gangster boss looks at you for a few seconds then shrugs.  "Da.  I have guests and I wish them to be kept safe.  I did not bring them with me because I do not know you.  So you want to help give him security?  What help can you offer them?"

No.  I'm sorry if I'm confusing you.  I really should learn Russian.  I will try and have my friends teach me some more when I have free time.

The doctor...who was with the detective and the girl at Washington Rec and Mercy General,  I was going to offer him protection.   He's dead though, so I was too late.  I wouldn't think they would need any other security as your guests. 

We just want to share intel between all parties and work together to take out whoever is hiring these mercs.  We've given you what we've found out so far and we were hoping you would now share what you have with us. 

I'm not here asking for money.  I'm here because I want friends and allies and I believe you and you guests could use a few more people in your corner.  You play bridge?  There's four players at the table, 2 vs 2, partners right well they share info with each other by bidding on their hand then after the information is shared one player puts his cards face up on the table and they play both hands against their opponents.  So we're the partners and I'm laying the cards on the table.  Now it's up to you, how this hand plays out.  Do ya take my meaning?

Vlad looks at you with interest.  "And who are the other two players in this game?  Or is that what you are needing to know?"

These Mercenaries for one.  And whoever is holding their reins.  That is the missing piece of the puzzle I think.  Hopefully you have information that can help shed some light on that.  Then we investigate those people, score our tricks and if things go exceptionally well, find a way for us all to get paid for the trouble.

Vlad laughs, "Of course know name.  Is Pakao je krila, which means Hell's Wings in that drek of a language the Serbs call their native tongue.  Once were small time, but now sell soldiers all around.  They cull the trash from the streets of cities in Greater Europe, but usually from eastern countries there.  So much poverty means they have many willing soldiers.  Some come from armies that can no longer afford pay and others from city streets where people never get paid.  Can be good life if live long enough to get paid.  So look there for source of soldiers.  See who pay for men to fight."

They aren't all trash.  The two guys I took out were sporting decent chrome.

Vlad holds up a hand.  "Yes, my new friend, I did not mean all were trash.  Some are high quality former soldiers and some have good implants, which makes them even more dangerous.  Perhaps after the losses they took here they will be looking to hire local replacements."

Well I suppose that pretty much concludes our business.  What do you say, do you trust us enough to visit your bratva and speak with your guests, perhaps formulate a plan on how to proceed from here?

Vlad shrugs.  "I have no problem with that, but then I am not him.  I will return to my people and ask him.  I have your code.  Expect call within a couple of hours.  Stay and eat if you like.  The food is good here.  Was pleasure meeting you and I hope to see you again soon."  He stands and offers you a hand.

I get the food in doggy bags and make sure there is enough for everyone then head outside and pick up my firearm.

Vlad's men watch you every step of the way until you reach the door.  Once you have your weapons and leave, Dog looks over at you.  "That was intense.  You stared down the Man and came out alive.  I did some research on this guy and he is one mean hombre.  At least so says his rep.  Anyway, I'll take the doggy bag, please.  I want to eat it before it goes cold, but it sure could use a beer to go with it.  There is a 'Shack a block over.....you buyin'?"
